Day parking, overnight prohibited

Very large parking area. Direct access to the beach via the footbridge. We came early in the morning to enjoy the quiet beach with our pets. Very good. The parking area is clean and there are bins.

Apparently dogs are no longer allowed anywhere on Meia Praia, and motorhomes are obviously not wanted anyway. We could have saved ourselves the drive here.

Ah, those people who think free showers should be a public service!!

Attention! We got robbed very close to this parking. it is dangerous area, please be careful. Broken window in 2 our vans and laptops stealed.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Extremely windy. Dirt parking, so we had to wash the van inside and out because it was completely covered in dust. It was impossible to stay on the beach because of the blowing sand. As for the showers, maybe the next person will be luckier, but in the men's shower there is a tap at hip height, right against the wall, and in the women's shower the showerhead is broken and only gives a trickle of water.

Only one shower available for women, with low water pressure and in poor condition. No showers for men; they are all broken, with only a tap for washing sand off your feet.

I went to use the showers and was disappointed. There are none. Besides, staying overnight in Lagos is impossible.

We only went there for the shower. Rudimentary, but honestly it does the job. Cold water only: two showers in the women's toilets and one working shower in the men's.

We were here for a beach visit with our dog. Great endless sandy beach and dunes. Unpaved parking, no problem, with plenty of space but no shade. Toilets and showers available, very basic. Signs indicate that overnight parking is prohibited. Tip: Jardim restaurant opposite has a great atmosphere and very tasty dinner.

We stayed here during the day and went to the beach. There are toilets and showers directly at the parking area by the bar/restaurant. Everything is basic, but okay.

Excellent daytime parking for the beach, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
