Parking beside the Santa Maria de Pombeiro monastery, shaded and pleasant by day, where overnight stays are possible. It takes motorhomes up to 7 m, and there is a height limit at the entrance. The monastery is worth visiting and a family restaurant sits about 15 minutes away on foot. At night the spot is dark and isolated, with cars repeatedly coming and going, which can feel uneasy.

We stopped just to eat in the shade. I went for a walk to the monastery but did not have enough time to visit it. In my opinion, this is a meeting place; there is also a very large parking area at the foot of the monastery.Translating
