1 Avenue de la Lieutenante, 83480, Puget-sur-Argens
Been here?
This large parking area at the start of hiking routes has mostly flat spaces, with some slight slope, and dry toilets. It is generally calm at night, although evening noise from cars and motorcycles, aircraft noise, and morning traffic have been reported. Waste and recycling bins are across the road.

Large parking area for many vehicles. Several spaces have a very slight slope, and some are level. Dry toilets in the parking area. Quiet at night; we were there in mid-April.Translating
We shared this free spot with 2 other Motorhome’s, which added a bit of perceived security. Services are , use of a fairly new composting toilet and waste disposal bins across the road. With free overnight parking in short supply in the area as a whole, this is a welcome stopover for a couple of days. Also recommend the various forest walks, accessed directly from the site.
Flat and large spot with dry toilet and recycling. Peaceful at night but as has been mentioned, some noisy cars and motorcycles in the evening who one feels are very much purposefully trying to annoy campers.
We were disappointed by the place compared with the reviews. It is a large parking area, but we had noise from young people hanging around in front of their car with the music blasting until 11 p.m. It is under a flight path, so there was airplane noise until 11 p.m. and from 6 a.m. onward. There was also a lot of car traffic from 6 a.m. It is a spot that does the job, but nothing more for us.Translating
Large, almost flat parking area, dry toilets (but some people prefer to go beside them!). Lots of traffic in the morning.Translating
Breathe the fresh air of the conifers and pine forest. Finally, a quiet night. Good for one night while passing through. And nearby there is Château Cabran (hmm).Translating
Very good for one night, quiet; the dry toilets were closed.Translating
