12 Pretoria Road, SP11 9PB, Ludgershall
Been here?
This is a spacious overnight lay-by with ample parking and two entrances. It sits beside a busy trunk route, with road noise continuing after 11 pm and restarting just after 5 am. Trucks, vans and motorhomes commonly use it, but recent overnight stays reported no trouble. A village with a small Tesco, Coop and nearby petrol station is a few minutes away, and a daytime burger van operates here.

Loads of space and can be under trees Nice village within a few minutes walk with a small Tesco and Coop. No bins but some in village and at the petrol station nearby. There's a burger van during the day. I stayed two nights and had no trouble at all. The only downside is that there's a lot of traffic going by till late and from early. Overall though it's a dependable place to stop.
It’s a large lay-by on a busy trunking route and as such it is ok. Relatively clean. Some road noice till after 11 pm and start again just after 5 am. It can be a convenient stop over which is in short supply around here.
stayed 1 night. Quite full overnight. Trucks, vans, cars. No issues. Good overnight layby
Trees are good at shielding a lot of the road noise which calms at night. Burger van in the morning a bonus. Lorries and a motorhome for company. No trouble.
Great little lay-by. traffice noise but not too loud. Burger van from 8am. Great for a pit stop.
Great little lay-by a lot of wagons but always feel safe when they are about or other motorhomes other than that a great nights sleep
