Village parking, church bells

Level parking area. We did not dare drive down to the motorhome area and parked here, spending Saturday night in complete peace after the church bells stopped ringing at 10 p.m.; they started ringing again at 9 a.m. on Sunday. Few cars in this car park at this time of year.

It has rubbish facilities and a water fountain, a children's playground next to it, and the village is one minute away. There are many spaces, even for vans and motorhomes (ours is 7 m). It is very quiet, with zero noise.

This is not a motorhome area, but an angled parking lot for cars. When I passed by, there were two motorhomes parked lengthwise occupying 3 or 4 spaces. I had to leave, as it is also very narrow and maneuvering is difficult.

We slept very well here. Parking without services (which is why I don't give it 5 stars), but it is a wonderful place to enjoy Taramundi.

Dangerous for large motorhomes to access

Two words: THANK YOU, TARAMUNDI. In addition to two areas, which may or may not appeal to you, there is this three-level car park. On the middle level there are three spaces at the beginning and three at the end for long motorhomes (7.4 m). On the lower level, there is also room for a few more parked lengthwise. The village is beautiful, the people friendly. Good food and lots of crafts, especially knives. Recommended.

We spent a quiet night; there was only one other motorhome. The parking area has several open sections. It is right next to a cemetery, but that was not a problem for us.

Quiet. Good access. At the beginning and end of the upper level there are spaces for large motorhomes. Playground. A bakery very nearby sells fresh bread, pastries, and stuffed bread. Several good restaurants; Casa Paulino is very good, with a €18 lunchtime set menu. Tourist office. A short walk away is Antonio Diaz's cutlery shop, where he makes a knife in front of you and you can buy it. Cheese shop.
