Been here?
A small, free parking area in Pampaneira with beautiful views of the village and mountains. It is close to the village, with a water fountain and rubbish container, but no other services; the surface is mostly level and generally quiet at night. The nearby road brings occasional traffic, while cafés and shops are a short walk away.

We visited this lovely little white mountain village. Welcoming shopkeepers. We spent the night in this quiet parking area, located in the middle of the village, with a bin and drinking water. A clean and respected place with a beautiful view. Thanks to the municipality for this lovely spot.Translating
Just spent the night here. It is just a small car park but has beautiful views of the village and mountains. It is next to the road but quiet at night. Free to park. There is water and rubbish bins but no other services. A short walk into the beautiful village with cafes and shops. The locals seem very friendly.Translating
Excellent!!!! Many municipalities in Spain still offer simple and pleasant places. 1) Let us respect them. 2) Happy Spanish motorhome travelers who do not yet know the hegemonic dictatorship of Camping-Car Park..Translating
Very good place to spend one night, very quiet. We are traveling in a motorhome over 6 meters long with three children. The village is just a step away. There is a fountain right there. In the morning we were able to see some of the local wildlife—beautiful. Highly recommended; let us respect these places for everyone's benefit.Translating
perfect place with amazing view where you can spend a night and refill water. most beautiful place for campervan in that area. we tryed stop in Capileira, but there are wrong place with construction going on and a lot of construction debrisTranslating
Parking for cars, but if there is space you can park. In our case we had to wait for someone to leave. There are no services, it is free, and the night was very peaceful. The village is a three-minute walk away; it is small but pretty, with beautiful high-mountain views.Translating
We only parked to see the village, but we had intended to stay here overnight. It is a good parking area and must be very good for sleeping.Translating
Very quiet at night, with an occasional car passing. There is a rubbish bin and a fountain. Very close to the village, recommended!Translating
Great place for a peaceful and safe camper stay, 5 minutes from the village. Excellent for spending the night.Translating
Ideal place to spend the night. No noise, the whole area is practically level, spectacular views, and very close to visit the village. There is a bin in the parking area. Many thanks to the municipalities that provide places like this.Translating
We found a camper spot that is a real joy in this area. All three villages are wonderful, but Pampaneira is the most charming, so we slept there. Recommended.Translating
We arrived at 8 p.m.; plenty of parking, fairly level, and we spent a wonderful, quiet night. This Saturday we had breakfast with a very pleasant view and silence. The road is not bothersome.Translating
It is a very beautiful place where you can spend the night without any problem. We went during the December holiday weekend and it was very busy. For parking, it is best to arrive before 9 a.m. or after 6 p.m.Translating
Convenient, level parking spaces. Quiet and safe area right next to the village. The water is potable; note that the tap has a wider-than-normal fitting, so we could not fill up. Shops, bars, and an ATM are just steps away. Pampaneira is a jewel, very charming and lively even in winter.Translating
We spent one night and it was fine. The only issue is that it is right next to the road, and there was a lot of traffic early in the morning. There is a potable-water fountain next to the parking area.Translating
Small parking area but with good views. Despite being near the road, it is quiet at night. There is a fountain and a bin nearby. The village is small but has several shops and bars. We recommend La Moralea bar-shop, a charming place with a very friendly employee.Translating
It was full, so we slept in the bus parking area farther down. Both places are very quiet and level.Translating
Peaceful night in a beautiful museum village.Translating
Although it is beside the road, we had a quiet night and a beautiful view. Fresh water and a rubbish bin are available. The villages are well worth seeing. Thank you, Pampaneira.Translating
Level spot near the center, no services, rubbish bin and potable-water fountain available. Some cars early in the evening, but a quiet night. Very beautiful village worth visiting.Translating
Pleasant parking area, thanks for keeping it free so visitors can explore this magnificent village, which is well worth the detour. Beautiful mountains; unfortunately it is beside the road, but still quiet at night.Translating
Free parking next to the road, one minute from the village. A little farther down from the road there is another parking area with room for six vans.Translating
Free parking with views of different villages in the mountain region. Next to the road, with moderate noise, but not bad. Be careful: cars parking during the day may block the exit. During the day there is an attendant who does the bare minimum. Rubbish bins and potable water from a fountain are available. The village is a three- or four-minute walk away, with steep streets and a stream.Translating
It is a public place with a potable-water fountain and rubbish bins. We are here right now and, of all the places we have seen in this beautiful village, this is undoubtedly the best. Idyllic views. That said, it is very busy, with around 30 spaces. There is a road, but it is not very bothersome. You will not regret coming here.Translating
Considering that it is a parking area rather than a motorhome service area, it deserves a very positive rating. Very close to the beautiful village. There is a water fountain, and although the road is next to it, the night was very quiet; it is not a busy road at night.Translating
Small, nicely level parking area, ideal for visiting the village and its shops. It is shared with residents, with two or three spaces maximum. Overlooking the valley and village. Quite noisy at night: a repair truck at 4 a.m., then traffic from 6:30 a.m. There is a water point and good 4G reception.Translating
Very quiet parking area for spending the night, with a fountain and rubbish bin. The beautiful village of Pampaneira is a one-minute walk away. To park comfortably, it is best to arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon.Translating
Lovely place! Nice and quiet, beautiful views, and a very short walk from the delightful village. Drinking water and rubbish bins available. We had delicious vegan food at Ruta del Mulhacén—highly recommended!Translating
Parking next to the road with magnificent views and only a two-minute walk from the village. Despite being beside the road, it is perfectly quiet at night, with hardly any vehicles passing at that time. Very level spaces, and several caravans were with us. Highly recommended. The only drawback is that there are no services, only a rubbish bin.Translating
Great place to spend the night. On a normal day, you can find a spot quickly and easily. In high season or on holiday weekends it is more difficult, although a volunteer helps and there is room for quite a few campers and cars. Tap water is not potable but is perfect for washing dishes and brushing your teeth. Public toilets are in the village center.Translating
