Riverside parking, passing vehicles

We felt somewhat uncomfortable: many cars drove into the parking area, stayed briefly, and left their engines running. Young people and shady characters were around. In the morning, as we left, we encountered the police, perhaps they do check the area after all. Maybe okay for spontaneously bridging one night.

Perfect for spending the night in nature, very flat, and close to the cycle path toward Kehl (4 km) and Strasbourg (8.4 km), following EuroVelo 15. Please keep the area clean so that places this magical are not banned.

Quiet and shaded place to sleep at night, but lots of traffic during the day and quite dusty.

Close to the river and cycle paths, very quiet. We were woken by birdsong and the passing of a squirrel!

We slept here for two nights to travel from here to Kehl and then Strasbourg. The nights were quiet, but I noticed how many cars still arrive late in the evening, sometimes at high speed. The road is not a through road and the gate is eventually closed, but until then they really drive past very fast. Therefore, four stars.

Spent a quiet night here, with many walkers and rush-hour traffic from 7:00 a.m.

Flat and quiet. Only local residents walk past with dogs, runners, and bicycles. Strasbourg is half an hour away by bike.

We stayed two nights. Quiet parking area mainly used by the local dog walkers. If you park close to the trees, might get unwanted visitors (mosquitoes). We felt safe during the night. Recommended place.

Perfect! Great spot! Nice and quiet. Another motorhome arrived during the night. Very peaceful here! Oh yes, the little yellow Ford camper was also there with us. It does not bother anyone and apparently does not want to be disturbed either. We would come again :-)
