Day parking, paid short stay

It's not all day parking. it's £20 for 2 hours max. There are several signs saying this. Much better is park in the Park and Ride in Bushmills for free. Then get the 402 bus to the causeway. You don't need to buy any special tickets as the National Trust sign says. Just pay on the bus it was £7 return for two of us. Then just walk round the visitor centre to the stones.

Campervans £20, cars £12 for all-day parking.

Official car park, closed at 8 p.m., but it is free to park at the nearby hotel car park in the evening, including for campervans. Free entry to the Giant’s Causeway at that time.

£20 to park all day, although realistically only a few hours are needed to see the Causeway. The National Trust is ripping you off as usual.

We arrived at 8:00 a.m. and were the first. The attendants arrived at 8:30. When I asked how to pay—by card with them or via the app—they told me that I had arrived before them, so I did not have to pay anything. The app has changed; it is no longer PayByPhone but JustPark, and it costs £15.

We arrived at 7:20 p.m. and there was nobody collecting payment in the parking area. We calmly visited the Giant’s Causeway during sunset/evening, returned to the parking area, left after 10 p.m., and paid nothing. There were signs prohibiting overnight stays.

£15 for a maximum parking time of two hours. What a rip-off.

When I arrived, I was told I could not use the app to pay and had to pay there by card. £20 for a motorhome! And they only let you park for two hours! That is not enough time to walk to the end of the red trail and take photos. We only did the blue trail and had to return by bus and run because our time was almost up. A complete rip-off!!!

We arrived at 8:00 a.m. and were first. The parking area at the visitor center opens at 9:00. If you pay by card to the attendant, it is £15. Paying by phone costs £12. Next to the toilets are two spaces for campervans, free for a maximum of two hours; ask the attendant. Two hours is far too short to see everything.

It now costs £15. The app only charges £12.10 and shows validity until 11:59 p.m. There is a sign at the payment machine saying two hours maximum, but apparently nobody cares. The lady at the entrance was very nice. You can reach the stones for free via the blue path.

Small, very convenient parking area for visiting the Giant’s Causeway. The toilets are moderately clean.

From 5 p.m. nobody is there anymore, and the office and toilets are closed. I believe you can park for free.

Motorhomes are not allowed unless you are a National Trust member. Parking a scooter costs £5—another rip-off. There is nowhere in the area to park a scooter. National Trust influence at work. Deplorable.

Area cordoned off for quite a few campervans/motorhomes. A very nice guy showed us where to park, and it cost £10, payable by card only. Twenty-minute walk to the Causeway, well worth it, and the money goes toward upkeep. Lovely gallery by the car park; I bought a nice little souvenir to mark the day.

Great place to park a motorhome. The lane is not the widest, but there is enough room. We paid £10 by app and walked the blue trail to the Causeway for free. No need to go through the visitor center to pay. We arrived just in time for a lovely sunset.

Convenient location for the Giant’s Causeway. £10 is a lot for a relatively short stay. We arrived after 8 a.m. and were first there, but it was full with a queue when we left.

An attendant took our payment by credit card and had reserved spaces just for motorhomes, so we had no trouble parking. There are toilets and a path to the Giant’s Causeway. Pay attention as you approach. The lot is behind a building.

Great stopover that avoided the tourist-trap fees for visiting the Causeway. Paid parking on site. Litter bins and picnic tables available. Lots of parking. We parked with our campervan. Take the walking path from the parking lot to the Causeway.

I loved this little spot. The sunset is incredible; I highly recommend it.
