48 Calle Santa María al Picote, 05200, Arévalo
Been here?
This is a calm parking area beside Arévalo castle, with trees, tables, a small playground and a source. The town centre is about 5 min away on foot, and recent stays have been peaceful, though weekend nighttime noise has also been reported. There are rubbish and recycling containers but no motorhome services. Access can be difficult via a rough, steep track or narrow streets, so follow the town signage.

Great, a very peaceful and beautiful area, with the castle next to it. Wooded area with tables and a small playground. You can walk to the village center in 5 minutes.
Parking next to the castle. No services. Rubbish and recycling containers. Very beautiful town. Thank you.
Good place to park and visit the town. We spent a peaceful night there with other motorhomes and had no noisy visitors.
Apple maps route is to take first right off the roundabout as you enter the town. It’s a rough and steep track so I continued through the village and followed the signage.
I don't recommend it for sleeping, at least not on weekends. Tonight we had to leave at 6 in the morning for somewhere else. From 5 a.m. there was shouting with loud music and flamenco. All because of four idiots who we heard setting up in front of us just to annoy us. The village is very beautiful.
Excellent spot next to the castle and close to the sights. Very peaceful and fully recommended.
Highly recommended for a peaceful, noise-free night. Flat ground, a few potholes at the entrance but no problem, easy access for large vehicles, well lit, and a fantastic sunrise with the birds. There is a bin but no services.
Perfect place to spend the night and enjoy the beautiful village. Although there are no motorhome facilities, you sleep peacefully without noise beside the illuminated castle, and you can take beautiful photos at dusk. The castle staff are extremely friendly. Fully recommended, despite the isolated bad review we saw.
We slept next to the castle beside the houses, and the night was peaceful, although there was some traffic in the early morning.
Do not park here, Triana neighborhood. On 16/10/25 there was a shooting with a major police deployment. Look for a quiet area of villas to spend the night, in the Amaya area.
Today, Tuesday October 21, they are doing construction work. According to the workers, it will take about a week before the area reopens. The place is beautiful. We called the local police and they gave us permission to stay beside the viewpoint at the entrance to the village.
The location is perfect. WARNING: if the GPS tells you to reach the end of the route via Triana Street, NOOOOO. It is extremely narrow.
The place is just as described in the comments, but in our case the night was difficult because young people kept coming and going by car until 4 in the morning, making annoying noise and even spinning their cars. I don't know if it was a one-off, but for that reason I wouldn't return.
We spent the night there on our way north and stopped again on the way back. Beautiful and peaceful place; the young people who come at night were not bothersome. Thanks to Arévalo Town Hall. By the way, it is a monumental and beautiful village. At least five vans tonight.
Very peaceful area for spending the night at the foot of the castle. Not much else.
Parking at the foot of the castle. Located at one end of the village. Cars at night on weekends.
Quiet parking near the castle. We stopped for lunch; it is somewhat shaded, but watch out for the pine branches. I don't think there would be a problem staying overnight.
Great spot. Quiet, almost level. Would highly recommend visiting the castle. Only €4 entry and well worth it.
great spot to spend the night while traveling back home
Very peaceful night. 8 minutes from the old town and its beautiful square!!
Good place to sleep! When we arrived there were young people's cars, but nothing more. Very peaceful place at the foot of the castle, somewhat sloped but fairly flat.
A good place to spend the night if passing along the A6 from Galicia to the plateau, as we were. We stayed there for the night during the 2024 Galician Literature Day holiday weekend and not only was it a peaceful night, but the next morning we took a walk around the town and really liked its monumental character. So, a highly recommended place to discover.
We made a quick stop for lunch. Very peaceful place beside the castle with a playground for the kids. The fountain does not work. Very beautiful views and close to the village.
We had a peaceful night here with a beautiful view of the castle. In the morning, you can walk into the old center in 10 minutes for a delicious cortado. Plenty of space for larger motorhomes too. No facilities, only rubbish containers. Close to the motorway, which did not bother us.
Compacted, level dirt area right next to the castle, very peaceful place (we stopped on a weekday).
A wonderful view, ideal for relaxing, spending the day and enjoying great scenery; you can sleep very well.
Level, compacted-earth parking. Right beside a castle that can be visited, and ideal for walking around the village and its natural surroundings. Quiet place to spend the night. As it is a car park, there are no facilities, only rubbish bins.
Very well located for visiting the castle and village. We did not stay overnight, as we were just passing through.
Very peaceful. Beside the castle and we spent the night without any problems. There is a riverside trail next to it. It is also ideal for visiting Arévalo. Recommended.
Perfect for visiting the old town and castle. We did not stay overnight, but it seemed peaceful.
Very peaceful night beside the castle, although you can hear the motorway traffic in the background. Very beautiful village. Recommended.
Perfect place to spend the night with a motorhome beside the castle. Very peaceful.
