Been here?
A small grassy pull-off beside the road with a hidden path down between bushes to the Rhine, good for a swim. Traffic on the road above is light and one recent visitor had a quiet night, though an earlier report mentions daytime traffic noise. A local walker once objected to overnighting here and threatened to call police, though nothing came of it, suggesting overnight stays may not be strictly permitted.

It was a fallback option because nothing else in the area was available. At 10 p.m. an older man arrived with a bicycle and a tent on the luggage rack. He said this was wild camping and therefore illegal, and that he would report it to the police. We stayed anyway. No one came, in any case. We think he was simply annoyed because there was no space left for his tent...
At the large parking bay, there is a small path down between the bushes that can be driven on. There is another small area there, barely visible from the road above. We had a quiet night and few cars drove on the road. A small path leads further down to the river, where you can swim.
