Park parking, permission required

Where the camper is shown in the photo, there is now a shelter full of the park’s vehicles, but you can stand on the other side. It slopes a little. There were also many mosquitoes. The next day we got two binoculars in the visitor center and watched birds—highly recommended. We were also allowed to use the hose to the left of the building to fill our water.

We asked to spend two nights in the Visitor Center parking lot. They were very kind and let us use the water. Toilets available during opening hours (8 a.m.–4 p.m.). You can see vultures at the feeding point, reachable by shuttle or on foot (50 minutes along a sunny dirt road). We had dinner at a nearby tavern, with excellent prices and food. Great place!

Not many level spaces, but very quiet. Close to the small village and walks in the park. Ideal before or after crossing the border. Before arriving, we were stopped by a police check and took the opportunity to ask whether staying overnight here was a problem; it was not.

Two very pleasant nights without any noise. Beautiful forest surroundings. Hiking possible in the park. Dadia is a typical village.

We spent two nights here at the end of December 2025. We asked at the center and were given permission to stay overnight. Very quiet. Very interesting nature center, with a free bus to see vultures! Toilet at the center, open until 4 p.m. Small village with shops five minutes’ walk away.

Large parking lot, practically empty in winter. Quiet at night. Unfortunately, all hiking trails are closed because of a forest fire. The tourism center gave us permission to walk along the road to the bird-watching site and even lent us binoculars. We saw numerous vultures and highly recommend the excursion.

Very good location; we spent part of the day and one night there. We took the walk to try to spot vultures—we saw three in the distance. You walk through a burned forest. The night was very quiet. I recommend it. There are toilets, though not very clean.

We asked at the tourist center if we could spend the night, and they agreed. The parking lot belongs to them. A water tap is also available outside. The bird observatory is recommended!

We stayed end of March. The tourist centre gave us permission. Lovely and quiet for walking to see vultures. Griffon, Egyptian vultures seen.

Large parking area at the visitor center, open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fires damaged the forest; I went to the observation post and saw nothing. It seems the animals and birds have deserted the area. I stayed two nights. There is a tap beside the toilet block, which is closed, but the water runs with good pressure.

14/9/24 very quiet car park at the information centre for the National park. No problem staying the night. We were alone . No passing traffic really quiet but very safe. Toilets open when visitor centre is open Shuts around 5. We watched the video about the place then went for a walk. Have to stick to the track due to a fire saw no birds whatsoever ! Only a single tortoise out on a walk. Recommend

A really beautiful national park. The park suggests routes, shown in the picture, that can be explored by vehicle. Some are unpaved roads intended exclusively for 4x4 vehicles with sufficient ground clearance. The park recommended routes 3 and 5 as particularly scenic.

Excellent motorhome pitch!!! Recommended.
