Family-friendly campsite in the Venise Verte marshes with shaded pitches and onsite restaurant. Heated pool runs June–September. Boat and canoe trips depart directly from the campsite; bike rental available. Excellent walking and cycling routes nearby, plus a bird park. Peaceful but pricing is higher than average.

Excellent family campsite, very warm welcome and good advice. Very well equipped, worthy of five stars. We will return with bicycles to explore the many cycle paths. Do not miss the bird park and the boat trip departing from the campsite.
Small, friendly campsite where children immediately make friends and everything necessary is available. The pitches are well shaded, with just the right amount of activities. Relaxing despite all the children. Cycle paths start 200 metres away, and the jetty allows visits to the canals.
Campsite in the heart of the wild marsh, with boat or canoe trips directly from the campsite. Great welcome and introduction to the marsh by the manager. Shaded pitches and a beautiful swimming pool.
Wonderful campsite straight out of the 1960s, with pitches under large trees and pitches along the canal. Friendly reception. There were few visitors, so the toilets and showers were adequate. I would not want to imagine it when full. Nice large pool, also with a children's pool. When leaving the campsite, do not drive right, even if the navigation system tells you to.
Ideal for those seeking absolute peace and total immersion in the wild nature of the Marais Poitevin. The owners are truly excellent: welcoming, available and attentive to their guests. You can tell they love their work and their region. The campsite is relaxing and perfectly maintained. We will gladly return.
Very nice, very quiet campsite. A little expensive, but the nature and tranquillity—at least in April—are very enjoyable. The pitches are large and surrounded by trees.
Good welcome, exorbitant price: €37.50 for one motorhome, one dog and two people for one night. The shower facilities need maintenance and cleaning.
We loved it. It is in beautiful surroundings, with plenty of shade, friendly reception, good facilities and a good price. Ideal for enjoying the area, as you can rent bicycles to explore or boats to travel along the canals. There is a playground and animals, which our son loved. The pool is also great, with children's floats for the little ones. Highly recommended!
Well done to the team, and thanks to Didier for sharing his passion. A real campsite for nature lovers, with an ecological approach and a heated pool! Everything is designed to discover the different sides of the Marais Poitevin. We took a two-hour boat trip through the marsh and felt completely alone in the world. Next time we will rent bicycles! It is better to use the showers and sanitary facilities in the morning.
Excellent campsite in terms of cleanliness, tranquillity and the kindness of the managers and staff. The restaurant is quite good, but the quality-to-price ratio is somewhat limited because it is rather expensive.
Great welcome, with the possibility of discovering the Green Venice by boat with or without a guide. The only drawback is that the shower water is a little cold. Otherwise, it is perfect for being at one with nature.
Very nice campsite for discovering the Marais Poitevin. You can rent boats, canoes and bicycles directly at the campsite, with direct access to the marsh. Very friendly and welcoming staff, always available. The pitches are relatively shaded. The sanitary facilities need better maintenance and hot water is unreliable. There is a pool, games and a bouncy castle for children. Guaranteed success.
Very nice campsite; we stayed for two nights. Quiet campsite, very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities clean but a little old; some showers work poorly. I recommend it!
We came for one night and stayed five nights for €250. Heated pool, clean sanitary facilities, cycling, crayfish fishing, pizza evening, friendly staff, barbecue available, washing machine with tokens, shaded campsite, bread and pastries delivered, village 3.5 km away by bicycle.
Very friendly welcome. Top campsite for nature lovers, with special access to the Marais Poitevin. A manager passionate about his region and generous with advice. Bicycles available for hire, and it is possible to collect them the day before for the next day. Sanitary facilities and the rest of the campsite are well maintained, though they would benefit from some updating. We strongly recommend it.
In theory, a lovely campsite in an ideal setting, but in our opinion not a good address during high season because it is overcrowded and very noisy. The sanitary facilities are in good condition but dirty. There is no possibility of buying food or bread if you have not reserved by 6 p.m. the previous day. The same applies to the boats; everything requires a reservation. €37 for a car and tent on 5 August 2024.
