Hiking parking, larger vans need space

This is roadside parking close to hikes in the National Park and the Calanques. Parking is possible in the upper section, and an 8m van found space for a 2h30 visit to Sormiou. The area is beside the Baumettes prison and is not considered particularly attractive. Motorhomes over 5m may need to use two spaces or park diagonally.

Parking is good in the upper part. The neighborhood seems fine to me. The prison makes it feel somewhat gloomy.
We stayed for 2.5 hours while hiking to Sormiou. We easily found a space, even with an 8 m van, because vans and motorhomes are forbidden in the Baumettes parking area higher up; guards monitor the entrances. We had no problems.
