A lay-by beside the A3083. Outside peak season, the road was quiet overnight, with traffic easing after 10:30 and increasing again about 7:30. Older reports describe heavy lorry noise, vehicle shaking and traffic until late and from 7am.

Had a quiet night off-season on 22 June 2024. No honking from locals at all. The busy road quietens down after about 10:30 and picks up again around 7:30. It did not disturb us anyway. Would recommend.
Very noisy main road. Traffic til late then again from 7am. People tooting!! Van shook as lorries went by. Use this place only if desperate! Hardly slept!
