Been here?
This green, nature-oriented motorhome area sits in a gentle dip beside a barefoot park and offers a pleasant stopover setting. Toilets, water and waste facilities, electricity, and a barbecue area are available, though water and electricity require coins. The site can be narrow and fills quickly; its parking ticket is valid until 10:00 the following day rather than for 24 hours. Nights are often quiet, but a nearby tent venue has caused loud music or disco noise until 2:00 a.m.

Very beautiful green rest area. Electricity is paid, with new hookups. Electricity and water can only be paid for with coins. During the weekend we stayed, there was music and a disco in the nearby marquee until 2 a.m. Noisy but bearable.Translating
Unfortunately, we had to leave because there was a loud disco. It certainly wasn't a quiet place to spend the night.Translating
Quiet parking area, used quite heavily. Unfortunately, the parking fee is not valid for 24 hours, but only until 10 a.m. the following day.Translating
Easy and convenient in pleasant surroundings, with a paid barefoot park and natural swimming pool right next door.Translating
Very good, quiet, nature-oriented place for a stopover. We arrived at night and easily found a space and checked in at the machine. Good internet and a very beautiful site.Translating
Nice stopover site with easy check-in at the machine. Plenty of space even though we arrived late. Good, clean toilets at the bottom of the stairs.Translating
A beautiful place to get electricity and spend a quiet night. Everything was great for us! However, the baker no longer comes because, according to the operator, health reasons prevent him from doing so. For your information.Translating
Good parking area for an overnight stop. Probably very popular and quickly full during the main travel season, so you shouldn't arrive too late if you want to get a space. The toilets were practical and clean.Translating
Rather narrow space; campers park practically on both sides of a road, leaving little room even to put a chair outside. Good only for one night before driving on. We could not find the advertised shower and toilet facilities nearby. The water-disposal point is on the lower parking level.Translating
Perfect for an overnight stop during a journey. We stayed for two nights, and there was still plenty of space at 7 p.m. on both evenings. Perfectly located between Heide Park and Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park. Quiet location, with trees providing shade. Electricity, water and waste disposal available; payment at the machine by EC card. Ticket valid until 10 a.m. the following day. Public toilets below the site. Outdoor swimming pool and barefoot park next door.Translating
Great place to spend the night and explore the area. Clean toilets and plenty of electricity hookups. Many thanks to the municipality.Translating
Very beautiful, quiet parking area in the countryside. We spent one night here. Waste disposal and water supply work without problems. There is a small channel along the side for directing wastewater; I wish everyone would use it, because otherwise the disposal area gets flooded. Unfortunately, the bread-roll service has permanently ceased for health reasons.Translating
Very nice campsite in the countryside! Quiet, despite being very full. We would gladly come again anytime. The barefoot park next door is certainly worth a visit, but unfortunately we had no time for it. Absolutely recommended.Translating
Beautifully located site, with great cycling tours into the heath possible from here. Thanks to the municipality for the inexpensive campsite. Even less understandable that, once again, a motorhome driver thinks they have to spend the night for free in the higher car park. People, you are ruining it for the entire motorhome community.Translating
Warning in winter! The exit is very steep and not easily passable in ice and snow! With front-wheel drive in a 6-meter Citroën Jumper, using considerable effort, two towels and many sticks, it took us almost two hours to get out. Tip: Take your toilet cassette down on foot for disposal instead.Translating
Peaceful night, close to nature. BUT the driveway down to the area for the motorhomes is steep and was very icey on 15th of January, couldn’t drive down. Parked at the empty upper level, walked down to pay for stay, though couldn’t use the facilities in the bottom. No gravel on the icey driveways, the snow wasn’t plowed, so don’t know how ”all year round” place really is meant to be?
Please do not come here at present. The access road and exit are completely icy, and you can no longer get up from the site. Today, a kind tractor driver pulled all of us out! Thank you!Translating
Basically a very nice campsite. We have stayed here before on the way home from Sweden. We hoped to spend a quiet New Year's Eve night here. Far from it. In the first section of the site, people were setting off fireworks like crazy from 8:30 p.m., with huge cannon-like bangs, as if there were no tomorrow. We drove on.Translating
Brilliant site. We would come here again anytime.Translating
A nice campsite with supply and disposal facilities, waste separation and electricity (extra). Very quiet, close to the motorway. The price is absolutely reasonable.Translating
We did it again, and once again everything was perfect.Translating
Car park large enough, finely gravelled or sandy ground. Some potholes. Very well organised and self-explanatory. Easy access to the supply and disposal facilities, price okay. Electricity too expensive. It was quiet for us, with no noise from young people. Nicely and tastefully designed. A bread delivery service arrives around 8:00 in the morning. We will come again.
Every time we drive north, we spend the night here. Incredibly peaceful, and if necessary another row can be opened during the high season. It is also great that you can be in Hamburg quickly in the morning.
Great site, cheap. There were toilets, which were very clean when we were there (30 September). Electricity is available (4 euros). You can dispose of sorted waste. Pay at a machine (12 euros for one night, 22 for two nights). Near some kind of playground; I am not sure what it was because it was closed when we were there.
Quiet campsite in beautiful countryside, which we used as a stopover.
A very quiet campsite with everything needed. Unfortunately, the water for cleaning the cassette was out of order. Thanks to the municipality for providing such a campsite.
Beautiful site, which we have now used for the second time as a stopover on our journey to Scandinavia. Only a few kilometres from the motorway but wonderfully quiet.
Very nice place to stay for a night or two, it gets full very quickly - a local baker delivers bread in the morning which is a very nice touch.
Amazing quiet campsite. We arrived late and parked in the upper row because everything in the motorhome lane was already occupied.
Such a nice overnight site. It is on several levels. Toilets at the bottom of the site. Located in beautiful countryside.
Very beautiful site, absolutely quiet, with a great natural swimming pool and delicious regional products. Many thanks to the municipality and everyone involved! Very busy during the holiday season. Unfortunately, as almost everywhere at campsites, human waste is found here! Despite toilets being available, people still go in the countryside with toilet paper and tissues. Tissues take 3–5 years to decompose… This will lead to more prohibition signs rather than campsites!
Basically a top location so close to the A7, yet still quiet. However, you have to expect noise from the shooting club, lasting until 10 p.m., which unfortunately our dog cannot cope with.
Excellent motorhome area in the middle of nature, in a very quiet area close to the village. Easy disposal, but unfortunately the water for rinsing the toilet cassette does not work.
Lovely motorhome area in the woods, a short walk from the village of Egestorf. Very quiet, with local organic products for sale, a baker at 8 a.m. delivering very good fresh bread, spotless toilets, water available for €1 (you need a one-euro coin; other coins are not accepted), and grey and black-water disposal. The ground is a little muddy when it rains. Thanks, we had a great time!
A great place to stop, not only to spend the night but also to enjoy the surroundings. We loved the little shop of local products hidden in a hut and the potato sales. A place to return to!
Music like that in a natural area? I totally disagree. Ok it could be a very nice place... but we we're annoyed by music first and the by drunk people leaving. And I think a better care of the holes on the road it's necessary.
We returned here on our journey north. Still excellent! The festival did not disturb us and the music ended early. The Lüneburg potatoes sold at the wooden kiosk next to the managers’ hut are also excellent.
Everything okay. WARNING: At the end of July there is a shooting festival with party music at full volume until 2 a.m.!!! Hardly any sleep possible!
We were here for the second time and were delighted again. The peace and quiet despite the shooting festival, the baker in the morning, the excellent natural pool, the clean sanitary facilities, the stand selling regional products and the small shop with wonderful foot balm made our stopover a highlight. Thank you!!!!
Quiet place perfect for a night. Low cost and extra plus to the local baker that comes horning with his car at 8 am.
Quiet area near the motorway. Clean facilities. No showers. We spent one night before continuing our journey. Highly recommended. Payment by card. Electricity available, though we did not use it.
