37 D71A, 66480, L'Albère
Been here?
A large, mostly flat area along the D71A toward Col de l’Ullat, offering mountain views and generally little traffic. The route can be narrow, and one navigation route incorrectly led to a private, partly impassable track. Nights have been quiet, although vehicles begin passing from around 08:00 and flies are common. Higher up, a chalet restaurant has barbecues, and hiking routes, tables and a bar or restaurant are available, though the restaurant closes outside the season.

Good, flat spot near the road, with a beautiful view.
Beside the road, with quite a lot of traffic from 8 a.m. onward and many flies. Fairly quiet and with a beautiful view, but nothing special.
Probably very beautiful, but the route took us onto a private road with an impassable section.
We arrived at night and encountered many animals, so watch your speed and headlights to avoid frightening them. The ground was quite flat and we had a very peaceful night. A few cars began passing from 8 a.m., but nothing disturbing. Be careful because the road is relatively narrow in places when vehicles meet.
Not completely flat, but very pleasant. Very little traffic. Quiet night. Good phone reception. Hiking trails. We woke to birdsong. Farther up the road there are barbecues, picnic tables, and a bar/restaurant, closed outside the season. The paved access road is not narrow and is therefore easy to drive.
Beautiful view, level ground, and beside a very quiet road. Beautiful walks also start a little farther uphill.
Very beautiful spot with a fantastic view. The road is somewhat narrow but very manageable. Cars pass occasionally, but at night it is almost completely quiet.
A place and a peace that are out of the ordinary!! ;)
