Yurt Farm Glamping

Very remote camping spot — beware of low-hanging branches! Very friendly owners. Anyone afraid of dogs should avoid this place, as the farm's somewhat wild dogs roam mostly free and like to bark. For one night and €10 for a motorhome with two adults and two children, it is definitely fine.

Hello, if you want to get to know the countryside, this place is highly recommended! A friendly welcome with a beer. Be careful: do not choose the shortest route suggested by the navigation system; instead, continue 5 km toward Gospić, as the other route is just a rough track with heavy vegetation. Unfortunately, I got a few small scratches, my own fault. Shower and toilet available, €13.

Camping spot with a German-speaking family. Overall, there is clearly a backlog of investment, but their friendliness makes up for it. If the free-roaming dog barks, simply drive onto the marked pitch. The owner will then come over.

We took a major detour because the description sounded very nice, but unfortunately we were disappointed. We were greeted only by a rather aggressive stray dog, so we could not even get to the house. Despite the dog's loud barking, nobody came outside, although we could hear voices from the house. Such a shame…

So nice! Most of the campsites in Croatia in July are big, full and noisy. Here we had a very peaceful night watching a herd of goats and a cute donkey wandering around. The owner was very friendly and brought us some home made goat cheese. Some difficulties to find the place tough. We found dead end following Google Maps. I will try to add the correct road in pictures.

Unfortunately, we could not find it. The navigation system took us into the middle of nowhere twice. The second time, when we nearly got stuck, we gave up. Such a shame.

Wonderful! You will rarely find hosts who are so welcoming; as soon as we had put on the handbrake, we were already having an aperitif! We easily parked a motorhome over 7 m long despite the snowy conditions. We only used the electricity service. I highly recommend these generous hosts. Our daughter loved the various animals on this small farm.

We found it despite the darkness — very remote, but consequently a quiet and relaxing night! Very hospitable hosts who speak German well, with an invitation to drink schnapps and sample their homemade ham! The separate shower and toilet had a burst pipe, but a private bathroom could be used instead. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful, quiet place and very friendly hosts. We were welcomed with a beer. In the evening we were also given samples of homemade bacon and cheese. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are currently out of order because of a burst pipe, but we could use the private shower and toilet. The donkey is very curious and shy. He is always happy to have a carrot.

Super friendly and very idyllic. The welcome turned directly into an evening of drinking, which was great fun :-) Cabins and permanent sleeping places are supposedly planned here soon, so keep an eye on it. In the future, you will be able to relax in the huge wooded property.

Very warm, friendly family welcome that makes up for the basic quality of the site. Unbeatable price: 100 kuna for one vehicle and two people. Highly recommended for travellers on a tight budget. Dogs, goats and other animals present!

I arrived quite late and nobody was home. I called, and it was no problem at all to park there. In the morning I was warmly welcomed with a coffee. There are really beautiful animals on the farm. The sanitary facilities are also perfectly adequate. At departure I was given some homemade ham.

Very friendly welcome. Everything was uncomplicated; we were given farm cheese and elderflower syrup to taste — delicious! Camping spot on a farm with animals, so it is understandable that there may be goat droppings in the meadow. Shower and toilets available.

The strong smell of goats and the very neglected appearance made it easy for us to decide to continue driving.

Katharina is a very, very kind host. We were treated to tiramisu cake and elderflower lemonade. The landscape is beautiful and invites you to hike or cycle. The farm animals are interesting breeds. The former Serbian road is good for experiencing contemporary history. Minus points: a constantly barking dog, animal droppings from goats and dogs, and a donkey and cow on the camping area. No facilities at all.
