It is advertised that the site is open all year and that information is available on-site. Unfortunately, there was only a construction worker there, who advised us to leave because he would close the gate and nobody would be there at that time of year. One call was rejected, and the second went unanswered. What a shame—the place was beautiful, and we would have liked to stay after the dangerous climb up.
Whether you want adventure or to unwind, this place is perfect for both. Close to nature, idyllically situated by a stream, with a fire pit and an archery course directly next door. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return!
A quiet, idyllic place with goats, a campfire area, and a beautiful meadow surrounded by forest where we were able to find a spontaneous place to stay. The operators will surely turn it into a real gem!
Very beautiful place, and you can reach the Rennsteig by bicycle in half an hour. There was even a campfire in the evening—what more could you want?
