WARNING! Since July 2024, wild camping is completely prohibited in the municipality of Bessans. The police are friendly but consistent. All the former beautiful free-camping spots are NO LONGER POSSIBLE!
Very pretty place indeed. However, there are signs a little farther away prohibiting parking.
Very pleasant place. Lakes and shops are within walking distance for those who like walking. Several walks are possible. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Views of the surrounding peaks. Waste disposal and fresh water available in the town.
