A possible overnight van spot with an acceptable view, but evening conditions can be unpleasant. There may be a strong smell from toilet cabins and gatherings of young people in cars. Access is unsuitable for large motorhomes because the road is prohibited to vehicles wider than 2.20 m.

The view is decent, but there was a strong smell from the toilet cabins and young people gathering in cars in the evening. We did not stay.
Indeed, a great spot for one night in a van. I would not have gone up with a large motorhome: the road is prohibited for vehicles wider than 2.20 m. Otherwise, there is a new car park under construction in front of the excellent fountain with extraordinary water, on Rue de la Fontaine. The castle and medieval village are magnificent, and the view over the Rhône Valley is superb.
