Very central campsite in Den Helder with excellent, friendly service and reception. We were helped with every problem. We stayed for two nights. Electricity is available for an extra €1. It is very quiet at night. The toilets and showers are clean and stylish. The ferry to Texel is very quick to reach from here. All in all, we were very satisfied
Spacious pitches, well located for visiting Texel, excellent sanitary facilities, clean and warm, very friendly staff
Excellent, with the marina's sanitary facilities. Go to the marina office in building 41. Opening hours vary, but you can call if needed
Well-located parking area for visiting Texel, quiet place with very clean sanitary facilities, hot showers and toilets, electricity €0.50 per kWh, grey-water disposal. I give it 4 stars because for €17.50 they could provide water to fill the tank; you have to pay for a full tank
Pitch where you can sit outside, in a lively neighborhood with restaurants nearby. Perfect for taking the ferry to Texel. Showers and sanitary facilities perfect. €17.50 with electricity for one motorhome and two adults. Washing machine available. Very peaceful night accompanied by seagulls. Remember to arrive early to get a place
A great camper place with dedicated spaces all on hard standing with electricity, clean toilets and showers plus fresh water, grey and chemical disposal. Museums, bars and restaurants adjacent but the main attraction is the close proximity to the ferry to Texel - 6 Euros return for pedestrian with bike for 20 minute trip.
Although nearly full, relatively quiet... only seagull cries. Great locations all around. Museum right next door, unfortunately already closed at 4:30 p.m. Very helpful harbor master who speaks German and has good tips. Great, clean sanitary facilities. Good value for money
Great site right in the middle of everything and very quiet. Cafés, restaurants and the city center are very close and within walking distance. The pitch is in the middle of a museum district. Large motorhomes with waste tanks may have difficulty emptying them, as the drain is about 3 meters from a hedge. Perfect with a dog; there are many green areas and the dike is only a few meters away
We stayed one night at Camperplaats Willemsoord. Excellent value for money! You choose your own spot, and the space next to your camper is also part of your pitch, giving you plenty of room to sit outside. It feels like a luxury city campsite. The sanitary facilities are also very clean and tidy. Highly recommended!
We stayed here with a dog for one night. The pitch and infrastructure are very clean and tidy. The harbor office is very well organized, and the restaurants around the corner are tasty too. Although the site is full, it is pleasantly quiet! Highly recommended
We stayed there for two nights. Sanitary facilities new and clean, showers free and hot. Owners/harbor master very, very friendly
The site is okay / showers okay / price okay by Dutch standards / not so good with a dog / pitches quite tight / restaurants right at the site / fairly noisy day and night
Good stopping place, clean bathrooms, hot showers, quiet at night, also convenient for taking the ferry to Texel on foot (€3 return)
We stayed there for two nights. It is a simple site without grass. Perfect for taking the ferry to Texel (2 km; ferry crossing 20 minutes; one person with bicycle €6 return). Sanitary facilities relatively new and clean. Owner very friendly
Great site, very well equipped and maintained. Water supply and disposal are excellent, and the sanitary facilities are very clean. There is lots to discover: the naval museum, historic harbor with restaurants, and a town center with shopping. If you like harbor atmosphere, this is the place for you. We enjoyed it very much. The lady at reception is very warm and helpful. We will definitely come back
Good site in every respect, with an exceptionally friendly lady in the harbor office. Top-notch for a city pitch!
Beautiful asphalt pitch directly at the harbor. Payment can be made at the harbor office; grey- and black-water disposal is just behind it, somewhat hidden. The toilet can be emptied in the very clean and modern sanitary building (transponder available at the office). Showers are also included, electricity costs extra. A great site for the price!
A great pitch for visiting Den Helder and Texel. Everything a camper needs at a reasonable price. It is therefore advisable to arrive early, as the site fills up very quickly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for this pitch
Good location for exploring the harbor and taking cycling trips. Clean facilities, friendly and pleasant reception. Be sure to explore Texel by bicycle and ferry. We will come back!
Beautiful paved site with very modern and clean sanitary facilities. The location at the harbor is lovely. The Naval Museum right next door is recommended. The ferry to Texel can be reached within a few minutes on foot or by bicycle. Restaurants in the harbor area have pleasant outdoor seating
lots of vans parked, was busy early afternoon, nice and quiet at night, site is by the harbour and Maritime, nice to look at the boats in the harbour, very near the Texel ferry, nice clean toilet and showers, electric if you need it, would recommended.
Beautiful central site with very clean sanitary facilities. Very friendly, German-speaking harbor master. We would gladly come back
Friendly welcome. Quiet at night. Impossible to pay with a French bank card!
Very good camper site with an extremely friendly harbor master. The site costs €17.50, plus €1 coins for electricity
Very nice. This is our second time here
Superb place, excellent sanitary facilities, grey-water and toilet disposal available. Security guard checks at night. Close to the ferry to Texel and cycle paths for lovely rides along the coast. Reservations not possible; we recommend arriving early in the afternoon to secure a place
Super-great pitch with enough space to sit outside. Toilets and showers very clean and tidy. The site manager also speaks German and was extremely friendly. We can only recommend the place
This place is definitely busy! Arrived around six in the evening and got the last pitch. As it is so close to the harbor, it definitely is worth the try. Pleasant area for a walk with a dog as well about ten minutes away from the camp towards the coast.
Spacious pitches in the middle of the city with clean sanitary facilities. Otherwise exactly as described. Friendly service from the harbor master
We were there for one night.... Sanitary facilities super clean, site manager extremely nice and speaks perfect German, and the price of €17.50 for two adults is reasonable. We would gladly come back
What a beautiful place! The managers are extremely friendly, with heated shower floors and tidy toilets. You can dispose of grey and black water, and not far from the camper site you will find an Albert Heijn, a Vomar, and much more! On the site itself you can get a beer or snack at the 80s music café “Tante Nel.” I will definitely return!
A little expensive for a simple parking space, €17.50 in cash only. Fairly noisy
We spent two nights here! Everything you need is available! Everyone at the harbor office is very nice! Unfortunately, the water was frozen and we could not fill our tank! We would come back
Very nice place, neat and clean sanitary facilities, friendly welcome and everything needed, within walking distance of the dike where dogs can run wonderfully. Shops and the center are also within walking distance. We had a very quiet night, highly recommended!
The parking area is very centrally located; the sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. The opening hours of the harbor master's office, where you pay for the pitch, are posted. We paid €17.50 for one night. The number of people does not matter. 50 liters of water cost €0.50; electricity is €1 per kWh (coins available from the harbor master)
Great location. Very nice museums within walking distance. Almost empty now in December. Everything you need is available. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The fries from “De Werviaan” are outstanding!
Excellent location and facilities. Plenty of entertainment within walking distance, including the ferry to Texel
Beautiful site directly at the marina. Everything you need is available. The sanitary facilities are clean, well maintained and in good condition. Harbor master very nice. We would gladly come back
Easy to reach. All service facilities for motorhomes are available. Plenty of space, even for very large motorhomes. Everything is nice and clean. You have to report to the harbor office around the corner at the marina; only then do you get access to Wi-Fi and the washroom. The office is not always open, for example open from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in the morning. You can also call. The number is posted at the office entrance
Everything is as described and good. However, you should know that the electricity draw is limited to about 1,350 W. Then the power post switches off, but you can easily switch it back on. This means kettles and similar appliances may not work depending on their power rating
Great spot for visiting the museum. A screaming person on Saturday night, but otherwise we slept well. The shower and toilet are excellent, and the volunteers are very friendly. Highly recommended
