Been here?
Parking at the old village school and beside the road, serving as a starting point for the Bakkanosi hike. The place is very quiet, with beautiful views, but the ground is slightly sloping and a nearby waterfall can be loud. Overnight parking costs 100 NOK or 10 euros. Payment is possible by cash, Vipps, PayPal or bank transfer, and there are no services.

The spot is on a narrow country road, after a 3 km tunnel. It is very quiet except for people who are disturbed by the sound of a waterfall, which can be tiring. The ground is slightly sloping and the night costs €10. We will not return, especially with a 7.5-meter vehicle.Translating
Good starting point for the hike to Bakkanosi. Payment is in cash, deposited in a mailbox, or via Vipps. On the private property opposite, payment is also possible via PayPal.Translating
A truly very quiet motorhome spot with an exciting approach. The view is beautiful.Translating
We spent one night here with our 7-meter motorhome and enjoyed the peace. The approach is genuinely exciting but possible without problems. We paid 100 NOK by online bank transfer, specifying the license plate.Translating
This is the best possible resting place before the majestic Bakkanosi hike. The instructions are rather confusing though. There's an upper parking area (in there picture) that can be paid only with app or bank transfer. The lower parking area is on grass, same price, different VIPPS number and possibility for cash in the box and PayPal. It looks like two completely independent parking area.
Good place to park for the hike to Bakkanosi. For 100NOK/10€ a day you can even sleep here but there are no services. There are many signs explaining how to pay (Cash, Vipps, wire transfer and Paypal(!)). We did not stay here but parked directly behind the tunnel (adds 4km and 200m in altitude to the hike to Bakkanosi).
We slept here for one night; it was really quiet. It is a good place to start the excellent Bakkanosi hike. However, for 100 NOK, we could expect at least some services, such as water.Translating
Quiet motorhome spot; at night you only hear the stream beside it. Perfect for hikes in the area. Exciting approach through the tunnel. During the day, hikers also park their cars here.Translating
Quiet night and parking on an unpaved surface. You can pay cash into the red box. 100 NOK. There is an ATM at the gas station in Gudvangen. The route from the main road goes through a tunnel and is suitable even for large vehicles.Translating
Starting point with no mobile network, making payment difficult without an internet connection or cash. Remember to bring some cash for the 100 NOK. Access is via its own tunnel and a narrow road.Translating
Beautiful place by the closed school in Jordalen. No traffic at night. No services on site. Please bring your own toilet. Payment is 100 NOK to the municipality, or 100 NOK to the private landowner down the road via the mailbox. Starting point for the hike to Bakkanosi, with views of the Nærøyfjord.Translating
Basic parking, but quiet. Ideal for hiking to Bakkanosi. We could not reach the summit because there was still snow. €10 and no services.Translating
