Been here?
Waterfront parking beside the Douro, close to Porto, with a nearby fishing area and a typical restaurant approximately 100 metres away. It can be calm at night, but fishermen, walkers, cyclists and vehicles pass through, especially in the morning and at night. Access is narrow, and branches make it difficult for vehicles around 7m50. The location offers attractive water views.

Location by the water, a fishing area with lots of activity in the morning and at night. However, ideally located very close to Porto.
Quiet parking by the Douro at night. A few walkers, joggers, cyclists and fishermen, but nothing disturbing. The police came by in the evening and morning on patrol and greeted us. A typical restaurant about 100 meters away; we highly recommend it—the food and welcome are excellent.
Nice area, beautiful view, lot of ducks. Also, many people are coming late in the dark and early morning on the parking lot. It was perfect for one night. The overall evaluation is between 3 and 4.
Contrary to the information provided, difficult to access for a 7.5-meter coachbuilt motorhome; too many branches overhang the road, so we chose another spot.
Spent the night, very quiet. Lots of fishermen in the morning.
The way to the parking lot is really narrow. The roadside spot is also very narrow. I definitely would not recommend it.
Very beautiful place, but we were suddenly woken at 1:30 a.m. by music blasting! Such a shame.
In October, a beautiful final stop before returning to France! There are fishermen, of course, but they are at home—discreet, somewhat talkative, but friendly. The small typical restaurant 100 meters away is really good. The owner is very friendly and available even at night if there is a problem.
Very charming place, but you will be parked next to fishermen who may stay until 1 a.m. and return at 7 a.m. People may also come at 2 a.m. to talk loudly or play music at full volume, disturbing the peace.
Good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some peace. We spent part of the day there; in the afternoon, fishermen usually come to spend some time with their rods. It is truly a relaxing place.
Actually a beautiful place, but there are many people in the evening, and cars keep coming and going—quiet is something else. In the morning the entire parking lot was overcrowded, with many anglers, and everything was loud.
Beautiful place during the day. A nightmare for sleeping, as there is a lively scene with considerable noise until 2 a.m.
Beautiful view, quiet place. Ideal for one night before or after visiting Porto, although somewhat far from public transport.
Lovely place by the water, not far from Porto but away from the tourist bustle. Joggers park here to run, so there is some coming and going in the evening. Fishermen stay until midnight. Otherwise it is quiet and reassuring. Easy access; a badly parked car did not prevent us from getting through. A few cigarette butts on the ground, but generally clean. A very pleasant breakfast by the water in the morning.
This is not a natural setting but a parking lot. You can hear vehicles crossing on the other bank of the Douro and those on the expressway above. Cars also come and go. I confirm the previous comment: you would have to be deaf to find it quiet. But you also need good ears to hear the ocean, which is at least 5 km away.
Very beautiful place, but as noisy as possible because it is right next to a paved road with traffic day and night. If you are deaf, you will enjoy it. The surroundings are pleasant, though. We went to Porto for less than €10.
This place was fantastic! It is difficult to find a safe place in Porto; I stayed here for three days and really enjoyed it. In the mornings I made a cup of coffee for the fishermen, and although we did not speak the same language, we had entire conversations. The view is wonderful, though it is a little far from Porto—about 30 minutes by bicycle along the river.
Very nice place by the water, 15 minutes from Porto :-D The arrival of local fishermen around 7:30 a.m. did not bother us (it was fine!) and it was rather nice to chat a little with them—one of them even speaks French :-) Clean place.
Great place! It is quiet, spacious and flat; we stayed at the end of the jetty. Fishermen come in the morning, making for a pleasant encounter. Magnificent view of Porto in the evening. Very pleasant paved promenade along the banks of the Douro.
Some activity in the evening and morning, but the night was quiet and the view was pleasant!
Superb! However, be careful during heavy rain; the area is prone to flooding.
