We only needed the services for €1: filling the tank plus a 20-liter solar shower. The place is beautiful, clean, and charming, with spotless sanitary facilities. The lady at reception was very kind.
A service area just the way we like them, with motorhome services: water €1 for 10 minutes. The toilets are clean and there is a campsite right next door.
Many thanks to the municipality for this pleasant motorhome area with the essential services.
Perfect! Very quiet area by the river. €6 for the night, with access to sanitary facilities and hot showers! Service station in good condition (€1 to fill up with fresh water). Bakery in the village and a small convenience store.
Thank you to the municipality for this very welcoming campsite, with very clean sanitary facilities—an example for many other municipalities! The two charming, smiling ladies are lovely; they provide the appropriate documents for walking routes, including the 1914–18 Remembrance Paths. In a word: it's great!
Warm welcome!!! Village nearby with a small producer and a bakery open in the morning in the village center. Recommended for its simplicity and peacefulness.
Thank you for this lovely area by the river, €6 per night without access to the campsite showers and sanitary facilities for self-sufficient motorhomes. A little further down there are pitches with electricity, showers, and clean toilets. We paid €13.80 for one night without electricity for two adults and two teenagers. In the evening, two people came to collect payment for the pitches; they were friendly and smiling. Thank you.
Very beautiful, spacious pitches on grass. Neatly maintained and wonderfully quiet. We arrived late in the afternoon and still had plenty of choice. The sanitary facilities are neat: two showers and two toilets on both the men's and women's sides, plus four urinals around the corner by the men's side. Shower, toilet, and dishwashing are free. For €1 you can empty your toilet and fill up with water. Overnight stays are also reasonably priced. Perfect!
Clean and very welcoming setting. Sanitary facilities and shower very clean. €1 for 10 minutes of water to fill the tank.
Not too far from the A5 motorway, a pleasant area for a quiet stopover. Very pretty village to visit, with old houses, paths along the Aujon, and pedestrian lanes. Be careful crossing the forest at night between the A5 and Arc-en-Barrois, as there are wild animals. At 11 p.m. we encountered several deer. Bakery in the village center.
Pretty village, nice restaurant. Campsite sanitary facilities accessible. Nearby road is somewhat busy during the day, but quiet at night.
Pleasant and attractive place. Relatively quiet. No services until April, but it is free. Starting point for walks, with limited shopping options nearby.
We slept on the large square in October; it was free. No problem at all. Since the campsite is closed, the sanitary facilities are also closed, so you must be self-sufficient. Very quiet. The street lighting switches off during the night.
Water is available for €2. The parking area is free in autumn and winter.
Fairly nice spot, toilets/showers were clean. You can definitely tell the spot across the stream gets all the attention though (much nicer looking).
Nice area. Quiet. Access to the sanitary facilities is a real plus. Spacious, close to the village, and with a pizza vending machine.
Very pleasant place; we only stopped for lunch. Access to sanitary facilities, showers, sinks, and a washing machine, all very clean. Thank you to the municipality.
Pleasant riverside pitch; no services in the area: no electricity; water costs €2 for 20 minutes. We recommend the campsite right next door, which has all services.
A small, very pleasant place that deserves to be better known.
Great for one night at €6, despite the ambiguity regarding use of the sanitary facilities. A sign says 'sanitary facilities inaccessible,' but they are accessible to everyone!
Thank you to the municipality of Arc-en-Barrois for this lovely area by the river, €6 per night with access to the campsite showers and sanitary facilities. It's wonderful. In the evening we appreciated Christine and Sonia coming to collect payment for the pitches; they are very friendly, smiling, and welcoming. Thank you, ladies, for your welcome. See you soon. The people from La Ciotat.
Spacious area near the municipal campsite. Pizza vending machine for a late meal. The campsite sanitary facilities were under construction, so there were no showers or toilets. However, we paid nothing.
The area displayed a closure notice. Nevertheless, we stopped there for lunch. Trucks were parked there!
At the time, the campsite was closed due to high water and flooding. The pitches are higher up, so we were able to spend the night here. It was quiet and the pitches were level. The campsite building was also closed, so there were no showers or toilets.
