A large summer-accessible parking area and starting point for several hikes, with beautiful mountain scenery. It is calm in the evening but animated during the day, and two-night stays have been reported. Public toilets, drinking water, selective bins, a restaurant and tourist office are nearby. The sound of the torrent and cascade may be noticeable, and bouquetins can be seen in season.

Excellent parking area for starting hikes, public swimming pool and drinking water.
Two nights at the beginning of May. Quiet in the evening (busy during the day), magnificent scenery, the right season to see ibex (please keep your distance from them!), and hiking trails starting here.

Very spacious parking area, but there is not much space left in the morning after 10 a.m.; spaces become available again from 4 p.m. (August and very good weather). Tourist office, restaurant, public toilets, recycling bins and a fresh-water spring in the parking area. Numerous hiking trails start in Vanoise National Park.
