Been here?
A quiet countryside picnic spot beside the Helme River, with covered seating and room for about five campers. Access is via a long, very narrow off-road track, with a sign permitting only agricultural vehicles; the entrance is difficult in darkness or rain. Cars and VW T5s can reach the dead end, but larger motorhomes cannot. The A38 is audible in the distance, though usually not a nuisance.

Very nice, quiet place; we only saw a few walkers. Reaching the spot was somewhat difficult. It is a fairly long and especially very narrow path. There was also a sign saying that only agricultural vehicles were allowed to drive there.
It is off-road, Waze was misleading, but useful for orientation. Probably a challenge in darkness and rainy periods. Don't follow the tractor trail to far, but go in a turn that goes to the right, for the left, less obvious, pathway and stay next to the water. There are recently planted new little trees, that makes the spot smaller, and less accessible for multiple cars.
