A free roadside parking area near homes, suitable for 3 or 4 small vans overnight but not for camping or relaxing. There is considerable traffic during the day and some at night, though one-night stays have been acceptable. It is easy to access, less than 1 hour on foot from Florence's historic center, with a bus stop 2 minutes away. A quieter position may be found slightly higher up.

We stayed overnight here to visit Florence the next day. A little farther up, you are no longer as much in the residents’ line of sight. It was okay for one night.
