This is a large, free public parking area beside the restricted traffic zone, well placed for visiting the town, port, restaurants, supermarket, and a nearby pizzeria. It has no services and camping is prohibited. Clubs nearby can make the area chaotic until late at night, although the original description says sleeping is peaceful.

Great supermarket next door and also a small pizzeria. Behind it, a pedestrian passage leads to Via Cagliari, which goes directly to the port, San Giovanni Tower, and the pier with a huge relief panel depicting animals and elements of nature. At the port, amateur fishermen catch octopuses as well as fish. We spent a peaceful night there.Translating
Well-located parking for visiting the city and port. Close to restaurants. Free public parking, so there are no services. Apparently it is possible to sleep there, but we did not stay.Translating
