This is a quiet public beach with a large children's playground, outdoor exercise equipment and a summer carpet-washing area. Parking is limited to 3 hours with a disc Monday to Friday from 07-16; at other times there are no limits. Toilets are open during summer until 21.30, and the lake offers pleasant swimming. Occasional evening noise from young people on mopeds has been reported.

We stopped for lunch. A very beautiful and quiet place, with good swimming. The children could play on the playground, and there is also outdoor exercise equipment for adults.
A really nice spot but when I was there on a Friday night the car park had 10-12 youths on 2 stroke motorbikes and in cars at 9pm and it was obvious they were going to be there for some time so I moved on and found another car park 800m away. Note that there is another well hidden car park with a different entrance very close to this one which is more removed from the area that teens gather in.
Quiet and spacious spot by the lake. It seems the showers are only available in winter, along with the sauna.
Great spot in front of the lake. Very clean toilets with tap water. Bins by the Beach.
