Calle de Braulio Foz, 50003, Zaragoza
Been here?
This is a bumpy gravel parking area behind Aljafería Palace, convenient for visiting the palace and about 30 minutes on foot from the historic centre. It has plenty of space but no services. Recent reports describe attempted vehicle break-ins, vandalism and an unsafe atmosphere, so it is unsuitable for overnight stays. Parking has been reported as free.

Not recommended. A shantytown is present between the parking area and the adjacent garden. They tried to open some vehicles, and while we were in the van they looked at every single detail. We did not feel safe and moved to the water park, which was very convenient.
Very convenient for visiting the castle.
Parking only to admire the Aljafería Palace. We preferred to leave because the area felt unsafe: people were trying to open several vehicles, and lookouts were posted at the top of the driveway. A shame, but far too risky.
The parking area is nothing special, and questionable people pass by constantly. We parked for a couple of hours to visit the castle and had no problems, but I recommend being careful and not leaving anything valuable in the car. Free.
I am from the neighborhood. It is better to park near Mercadona; parking is prohibited here, and there are people who break off wing mirrors, puncture tires, and even smash windscreens and windows. Otherwise, everyone is welcome; there are many places in the neighborhood to eat well and take care of personal needs.
This is all i was looking for: plenty of room for even more than my 6.3 meters, quiet, and lots of walking trails...dog walkers in the distance. 30 minute walk to the Cathedral 5 stars in my book
Very close to the palace, free to park but very dirty and didnt really feel safe. We left our camper there for a couple of hours but we wouldn’t sleep here. We saw a lot of matresses behind the bushes etc
Be careful at this parking area. While we were visiting the castle, they broke the window on the kitchen side; the alarm must have scared them away. In any case, there is nothing to steal, as we take everything with us every time. We just have to report it to the insurance company and the police, and it has ruined our holiday...
We didn't feel safe at all in the parking area; we only parked there to go for a walk in the town center, but we changed location to sleep.
We only stopped to visit the town. It was hard to find a parking spot, and with luck you might find one that isn't too uneven.
Good for spending a night, quiet, although a little dirty.
Unpaved parking area with holes and puddles, dirty and full of cars, with few campers. I wouldn't leave my van there or spend the night; it didn't seem like a good place to me.
Be aware!!! They broke into our car yesterday by smashing the window when we parked there during the day.
We didn't feel comfortable spending the night there. The atmosphere felt unsafe, although there are parking spaces.
Great for parking for a couple of hours. Enough space for large motorhomes. A little bumpy. We arrived at noon and stayed for four hours. We have nothing negative to report. Probably unsuitable for overnight stays because of the atmosphere.
We were there in April during the Easter holidays with a 6-meter camper and found the parking area ideal for visiting the town. There were enough free spaces, and it was only a 15-minute walk to the city center.
