Rue Charles Cazin, 62224, Équihen-Plage
Been here?
Municipal camping 150 m from the beach; motorhome spots are remote, on a steep slope, and poorly maintained. Frequent extra charges: electricity 6.20 euros daily, showers 0.15 euros per 20 seconds, pool access separate. Facilities close overnight (21:30–08:00 hrs). Theft reported; staff is unfriendly.

Flights obviously need strict controls, disgraceful
Nice campsite, but beware of surprise surcharges: electricity €6.20/day, shower €0.15 per 20 seconds, swimming-pool access (1.20 m of water) charged extra, not specified on arrival.
Nice place, unfortunately the swimming pool and restaurant were closed. Why? No explanation. What was really annoying was the constant noise all day from brush cutters, lawnmowers, etc. You cannot call it peaceful, really a shame. The reception staff were rather unfriendly. The beach was great.
Basically a very nice site. As already mentioned, the motorhome pitches are very far up. What caused us trouble, however, was that these pitches are not compacted, and we got stuck immediately on the sloping wet grass. Nobody needs that, but one thing must be said: we were helped quickly and pulled out with a tractor.
Large, tidy campsite with basic but clean sanitary facilities. The new pitches are somewhat far from the sea with quite a few metres of elevation, but offer a beautiful distant view. Good prices in the low season (ACSI).
Very beautiful view of the sea
Unfortunately, there were no toilet seats, and the showers and sinks are closed from 9:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Despite having the ACSI card (the basic price should have been €23), we received a bill for €45.20. This was for one camper with four adults. Fortunately, the showers were good. The camper pitch was not exactly level.
Ref: 20230731/62 Great campsite, good facilities, but it is a shame that the motorhome pitches are right at the very end of the campsite, which is extremely steep, hence my 3 stars.
Good site with a nice swimming pool, which also makes the price high for a municipal campsite. Two nights in a motorhome, two adults plus one 8-year-old, with electricity, right at the top of the hill: €91… We enjoyed it—lovely beach walks. A baker comes to your camper door at 8:30 in the morning.
Really lovely campsite, very clean sanitary facilities, beautiful pool, beach for dogs, rotisserie, chip shop and ice-cream parlour. In short, everything you need. The only drawback is that the showers and wristbands are not included in the price; they cost extra!! Otherwise everything is impeccable.
Absolutely unsuitable for camping. It is a holiday settlement with mobile homes and a few camping pitches, presumably so it can call itself a municipal campsite. A catastrophe for people with reduced mobility. If you only want to spend the night, it is better to go to the motorhome area in town—not exactly cheap, but still better than this “campsite”.
We used the facilities for €3. Easy to access.
Beautiful view. €32.15 for a motorhome, 2 people, 1 dog and electricity. Note that water is charged, including cassette rinsing. Showers charged. Pool charged. I find the price high considering the services.
Municipal campsite that looks great. However, the showers are not included in the package. Pool access is charged extra, which is a shame. Noisy neighbours. Dirty pitch, attracting dozens of flies. Cold welcome. I recommend it for one night when you have no choice…
We were here with three teenagers for two nights. We had a great time in the pool and on the beautiful beach. The sanitary facilities are basic but tidy. Many static caravans, but the camping pitches are right at the top, with sea views from some spots. Lovely pitches.
