Turned up having pre booked and prepaid. Nobody available to check you in or show you where things are. No WiFi and no phone signal. No laundry. No welcome. Facilities were dirty. We moved on. Translating
Got here really quite late at night and only stayed a night so didn’t get to explore much. But there was lots of places to park up, staff was very chill, washing up, water facilities and bricks for campfires / grills were available. Would have loved to see the flower meadow and do the walk to Maenporth. Would recommend. Ps. Met the Mayor of Falmouth here - he was lovely!Translating
Today, Sunday, we tried unsuccessfully to reach someone by phone. We did not receive a call back after leaving a message, so we drove on. The gate was locked with a code.Translating
The previous comment seems to be right. The owner's daughter also thought it possible that her father had charged less. We had to pay £30 per night in advance for two people and our camper. Electricity costs extra. I find that unreasonable. The pitches are quiet and idyllic. Many grass pitches are sloping. Those wanting satellite reception have to search.Translating
A few of us went and were all charged different amounts; they make up the prices as they go. You have to pay per person and for the pitch. Pitches are not assigned, and it is a signal black spot. There are no shops or anything nearby.Translating
Amazingly friendly and chatty owners. We two lovely nights on seperate occasions in the week. The facilities are clean and tidy, every camping area has water options for refill. Showers have blazing hot water even! The camping itself is lush, green and quiet. Will be back for sure!Translating
We stayed three nights at this beautifully situated place. Everything is lovingly arranged. We only had difficulty using the awkwardly shaped tap to filter our drinking water. There are two paths through the wonderful landscape, each leading to a beach. Walking to Falmouth is quite a long way, but manageable.Translating
