Rue de la Gendarmerie, 59820, Gravelines
Been here?
This AireService terminal next to the gendarmerie offers free grey and black water disposal. Fresh water costs €2 for 10 minutes of good-pressure tap; coin payment works despite occasional signage confusion. The pretty fortified town has a small parking area nearby for lunch breaks, though shade is lacking.

Good dumping area, plenty of water for €2. Easy to use.
Great service stop to empty grey and black waste, water tap was working for rinsing out your toilet cassette. Drinking water was €2 for 10 minutes, good pressure. Thankyou.
Very easy service area for emptying waste and taking on water with a €2 coin. Good flow.
Excellent service area for grey water and toilet waste. For €2 in cash, you can fill your fresh-water tank. Nice that such facilities exist. Small nearby parking area for lunch. No shade.
Everything is fine. We paid with coins even though the sign says payment is by card only. Great, thanks.
You can only empty the toilet and grey water. There is a sign saying that cash payment is impossible and that payment must be by card, except there is no machine to pay with. A cash-payment slot is present, so it is impossible to know how to get fresh water. Disappointed with the place.
Emptied cassette , worked fine, but can't use the water to rinse without paying for drinking water as well , I guess? as the tap didn't work on the black waste side. The rubbish bins were overflowing with rubbish all around it. but atleast the Empting of black water was available for free.
Still just as functional and useful. Thank you for this station!
Thanks for providing this facility. Wastewater and toilet disposal are free. For €2 you can easily fill your fresh-water tank. It is nice that such stations exist.
Very good. €2 for 10 minutes of drinking water. Grey- and black-water dumping.
Perfect, with good water pressure. Thank you.
Perfect for the services. Next to the gendarmerie.
All in working order. fresh water available for 2€ and grey/black water available
Everything was fine. There was no water to rinse the toilet cassette, but we used water from our waste-water tank instead. Thanks to the municipality!
A place to empty grey and black water. Easy and convenient access, especially for maneuvering. A minor drawback: the cassette-cleaning tap for black water did not work. Installing a push button could allow cleaning without wasting water.
All works very well and it’s clean. It’s €2 for 10 minutes of water. There’s a sign saying card only but that’s not the case. There is no card reader. Cassette flush is free. Many thanks.
We emptied the grey water and filled with fresh water. Everything worked fine. Payment in €2 coins for 10 minutes of water with a reasonable flow.
Works perfectly and there is enough space. Water costs €2, payable with €2, €1 or 50-cent coins.
Everything worked well, practical and clean. Payment by coin even though a sign says otherwise.
Although the municipality knows that the motorhome season is underway, it is a real disgrace for this and other municipalities to provide such a filthy disposal facility for toilets. This is simply disinterest and laziness!!!
Because the toilet disposal is blocked, people simply empty it beside it. The whole place is full of rubbish, to put it mildly. It is truly disgusting. Shame on you. This is the second time I have experienced this. Sometimes I am ashamed to be a camper.
23.08.25 went to empty black waste, blocked not able to use water was working but I didn't need that
Grey-water disposal and drinking-water filling worked; black-water disposal did not, as it was blocked.
Everything is working again. You can empty grey water and the toilet. Pay €2 in coins and you can fill with water and clean the toilet.
Sunday, 17 August 2025. Came to empty the toilet and grey water. Only the grey-water disposal works. The toilet disposal was blocked, so I had to find another service area.
Everything works: grey- and black-water disposal, with payment only by €2 coin for 10 minutes as indicated. Enough time to empty the cassette and fill the 110-litre fresh-water tank!
A very useful service area on a coast that lacks them. Water and toilet disposal. Bring a €2 coin to take on water.
we called here today to use the services and stupidly left our passenger door unlocked. whilst we emptied the loo etc, 2 immigrants got into our van from the opposite side. when they saw how aggressive we were, they ran. We were right next to the Gendamarie and despite telling an officer, they didn't seem bothered. Be on the ball folks as they seemed to appear from bushes in seconds!
As described. The €2 filling option accepts cash only, not cards as displayed.
Everything works perfectly.
The service point works perfectly with a €2 coin. The first time the coin came back out, but on the second attempt it worked.
We don't understand. A sign tells us to pay by card, but there is no terminal. There is a coin slot to pay €2 in coins. Does it work? We will try tomorrow.
Disposal is possible, but we were unable to refill the water.
The service point accepts no coins. It says payment by card, but there is no payment device at the service point. Mystery????
Everything worked perfectly. Thanks to the municipality.
First insert €2 so that you have water to flush the toilet. Only then fill the drinking-water tank, or pay another €2 ;)
Everything is great! Clean and free disposal, €2 for 10 minutes of fresh water.
