Spacious, we stayed only to have a break during a day. Ladies restrooms quite dirty with no toilet paper and full bins with trash laying around…
This evening all the brand-new caravans mentioned yesterday have left, and we were completely alone on the site and expect a quiet night.Translating
There is a new community living here with brand new caravans and VW SYVs, rubbish on the ground and small bicycles. No campers vans or motorhomes. We left.
Spent a couple of quiet nights here exploring the area. The bus into Salisbury was very reasonable for the four of us and every half past the hour. Really enjoyed Wilton as well will definitely be back.
Excellent stopover. The barrier there is definitely higher than 2.4 m; we passed comfortably with a 3 m motorhome. Bus station with clean, heated toilets. Power outlets available (I charged my laptop). It seems disused but is constantly cleaned both outside and inside. Very large, level parking area. Quiet night.Translating
Good place to sleep, no services of any kind, the car park looks abandoned. We had a quiet night.Translating
Free, spacious and a wonderfully quiet night. The sign says 2.4 m but it seems much higher; a large white motorhome can easily pass through. Otherwise, you can also enter and exit via the bus sign. The car park otherwise seems unused. We were the only ones there tonight. There is a bus to Salisbury.Translating
Stayed here overnight unbothered. Boom gates didn’t close. Toilets close at 6pm. Very clean area, bins near the building
There is a sign at the exit indicating 2.40 m, but it seemed to me that a truck could fit through—see photo (photographed from a 2 m high van). The car park is huge and quiet; a return ticket costs £3.50. Perfect.Translating
There is a newly installed 2.4m height barrier on the way out. No signage to say so at the entrance, but quickly find out the height barrier at the way out. Good for small van but a big No No for motorhome. Beware.
