A large parking area for the Krka waterfalls, with around 30 spaces and a quiet setting outside busy periods. Recent visitors were asked to leave by locals or park staff, despite finding no prohibition signs. One visitor reported a demand for 60€. The waterfall approach includes around 600 steps.

We arrived around 8 p.m. An hour later, a park ranger came and said it was not allowed to stay because this is a national park. There was no sign anywhere saying it was prohibited. It was off-season and the parking area was empty. The man demanded €60 from us; we asked him to show us the prohibitory signs. He left and drove away. We stayed overnight and everything was fine.Translating
We arrived very late and spent the night alone and peacefully, but at 7:50 a.m. a local drove around our motorhome honking loudly and asked us to leave or he would call the rangers.Translating
Was the only car/van there and very large parking lot (maybe 30 spaces). Most people just park right at the entrance. This also meant that the first part of the hike down was beautifully empty and you have a nice view. It is many steps though (around 600). Other than that, the biggest water falls in Krka are in the south of the park not here.
