Been here?
A large grassy parking area beside a bathing beach, suitable for campers and close to the town. Food and a small supermarket are easily reached, and the ferry port is 2 minutes away. The beach and surrounding area can be dirty, with rubbish and driftwood. Night-time noise from cars, motorcycles, horns and loud music is frequently reported, especially between 22:00 and 4:00.

Parking on the grass near the small town. Easy access to town for food or small supermarket. The places in this area are quite dirty with a lot of rubbish around. Also at night the road is loud with locals revving cars, bikes and horns so not the best night sleep.
Picturesque place! Palm trees, a bay, and a large free parking area!
The previous reviews are correct. Apparently a group of young people does not want campers at this spot. From 10 p.m. until around 4 a.m. there was a lot of motorcycle noise and extremely loud music right behind our camper.
We stopped for a break. The road noise is clearly audible, especially the scooters. The beach is okay and relatively clean. We did not want to spend the night from Friday to Saturday.
Decent place, nothing more. Quite noisy at night, probably a meeting place for young people (music, car and motorcycle engines). We left the next day.
Beautiful place, until evening came. From 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. there was a lot of noise from passing mopeds, extremely loud music from a car, and lots of shouting. The aim seemed to be to make as much noise as possible. They did not come up to the camper, but were nearby. It felt very unsafe. This was on a Sunday evening.
Nice place to spend the night. The sea brings some pieces of driftwood (they are not rubbish). The area as a whole is clean. Today we are alone. The walk along the small harbor is pleasant.
Nice spot, great for 1 night. Got to watch a football game (Saturday), with an easy quick walk into town. Lots of space available. A bit of rubbish but that doesn't bother us. Nice sunset views.
I would not swim there. Too much driftwood and rubbish. But there is plenty of space, and the town is a short walk away. The ferry terminal to/from Ithaca and Kefalonia is easy to reach. Anyone driving through from the south should not make the mistake of driving into the town. The correct turn is BEFORE the town, by the petrol station!
Passing through to Patras, it was not possible to stop. Full of parked trucks, no facilities.
Large, not entirely clean area, mostly grass, with a few small trees and generally level. The town is a 7-minute walk away. Quite a few cars used by couples in the dark, distant dogs barking, between the tennis and football fields. Questionable at weekends!
