Open gravel, Saturday night noise

Place outside Nancy. Large and spacious. Sometimes other cars, and quite a few hikers with dogs. Nothing prevented us from sleeping there without problems. No spectacular view despite the elevation, however. For a one-night stop outside the city, it does the job!✦Translating

The spot is really cool. I was looking forward to a beautiful view of the sunrise the next morning, as the view is unobstructed. But someone stayed in their car, someone joined them, then left again, with loud music and the window open, and a strange attitude, often looking in our direction. A clean and accessible place right next to the sports airport, also accessible for larger motorhomes. Please note: flight operations at weekends (gliders and small aircraft), with activity during the day and also at night—cars and motorcycles turning around or stopping for a break. So it can get a little noisy, but nobody bothers you.✦Translating

Peaceful quiet night. Plenty of room for about 10 campers it seems. No services but super spot.

Large airfield parking area. We were a little disappointed because it is not really “in the middle of nature” (there were no photos when we decided to go there), and there is a telecommunications mast nearby. Nice view, but not the environment we were looking for, so we turned back.✦Translating
