Picnic area near the river and road, with parking for 3 or 4 motorhomes plus 2 additional spaces across the road. It has grassy space, tables, benches, a barbecue area and a functioning water fountain, with the center of Vernante a few minutes away. The road can be busy, and there are few flat places, though nights are generally quiet. The concrete area may be used by rescue helicopters.

Very quiet and fairly close to the town. The only thing to clarify is whether the concrete area is used for rescue helicopters, as a passerby said. The road is fairly busy but causes no problems!
We stayed overnight, and slept well.
Very nice area for lunch, with a well-maintained green lawn. Four wooden tables with double benches, plus three single benches and a concrete table. I see a barbecue area with two more tables. Working water fountain. Large parking area beside it and also in front of the lawn.
Perfect spot for a lunch, water available. Not so suitable for overnight stay, busy road and not many flat spots.
Nice place. Not great for sleeping; the fountain no longer works, but there is water 300 m away. Very beautiful climbing routes for climbing with the family, from grade 4 to 6–7?! Belays at 20 and 30 m.
