Closed site, services unavailable

Closed this May 30. Otherwise, the site looks immaculate, but the opening hours should be marked.

We stayed for three nights, two of them alone. Safe and automated park. Everything works perfectly. It only accepted credit cards, not debit cards, despite also being Visa. I paid €2 plus VAT for the services, which seems fair to me. The system worked 100%. There should be many more areas like this, with safety and quality. Recommended.

Very clean area. Right next to the village. We spent a very peaceful night. The pitch was large enough for the motorhome with room to set up a table and chairs. A peaceful 20-minute walk takes you to the Mining Park, the hospital and the bullring. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night and it was perfect. Close to the center on foot. Very quiet. Restaurant and gas station nearby. You pay at a machine at the entrance; it is easy. It is cheap, but you pay for everything separately, which I think is fine. Access with a van is easy, but with a motorhome it is better to enter via the street from the gas station. The site is closed to curious people and very safe.

We tried it for one night. The entrance is not complicated as long as you position the vehicle in front of the gate. All services are paid for separately. If you do not need electricity for one night, it is preferable to sleep in the parking lot of the Mining Park, which has a splendid view.

I can confirm that the registration process is complicated; it works, but takes some time. The advice to approach via the road directly next to the gas station was helpful. Otherwise, it is very quiet.

Nice camper site with spacious pitches. It takes a while for the payment terminal to start, but it works fine. Paying for additional services is rather cumbersome, but we did not use them. TIP: Immediately after the Repsol gas station, take Calle Burgos diagonally uphill. The blue motorhome sign is also there! It is much easier to drive than the navigation route, which has a narrow, steep bend.

Fine place for an overnight stay. Nice to be able to stay safely inside the gates. A bit of hassle filling in the details and opening the gate, but once on the site everything was fine.

Very nice camper site. We had a quiet night here. You only pay for what you need. We did not use the facilities. It takes a while before you can pay, but you are on vacation anyway. It would have been easier to indicate at check-in which services you wanted instead of paying for everything separately.

Excellent facilities, spacious and clean. They need to improve the WC service; it cannot be €2.40 to enter the toilet. The shower has water, but please reconsider the toilet charge; a partition and door cost very little. The shower area should also be enclosed, as a lot of water runs onto the outside floor. Pleasant gated camper site with all facilities, although they must be paid for separately. The machine worked well until it had to issue a ticket with a code. A phone call with an extremely friendly man sorted everything out.

What a shame, it is a paid area and payment is by card only. They receive a €155,000 subsidy, yet you still have to pay again. The area looks good from the outside, but the gate is always closed, making entering and leaving a nuisance. Another problem is the street entrance: if your caravan has an overhang at the rear, you will hit the ground, as you can see from the marks on the asphalt.

Area in an excellent location for visiting the town. Easy prior registration, but the payment system requires, for example, anyone wanting to add electricity and water to their pitch to make three separate payments. The vehicle license-plate reading system is also unreliable and difficult to use, requiring calls to the support center, which are not always easy to get through.

With a lot of patience you can get inside; it takes at least one minute before you can pay by bank card! And when entering the nationality of your camper, Belgium is not listed—strange!!!! The site itself is neat, but the entrance is not; watch out for dog mess. Shame! Otherwise, we had a quiet night ;)

Registration at the machine is very time-consuming and poorly or incomprehensibly translated into German. For example, under “Login” you have to enter your vehicle registration number. Reading the credit card is also very slow. The service area is poorly designed too, because with the ticket you can only empty the black-water tank once and then fill with fresh water, so it must all be done in one go.

The area itself is not bad. We had a problem with the pedestrian gate because it did not recognize the code. We did not use the services.

Very quiet and inexpensive. All services are paid for at very low prices. One night with electricity costs less than €10. The payment terminal takes its time and gives the impression that it is broken. WARNING: the electrical sockets are not European. Thanks to the municipality. PS: Do not take the GPS route because it is too steep for motorhomes; use the gas station 100 meters farther up.

Excellent area for a good rest, with all services at affordable prices, level and spacious pitches. The mine is 20 minutes away and very interesting to visit. It is important to enter the area by going as far as the gas station, not via the route indicated by the GPS, which is an extremely steep hill where motorhomes scrape.

Very secure and well located area. You pay for the pitch and then only for the services you need. Like others before us, I should mention that you have to press the screen and be patient when paying. The code for the gate is at the bottom of the receipt.

It was nice and quiet. But dog shit at the entrance, quite a lot of it. Also when you book and have to pay you have to wait like a minute or two before the machine allows you to pay. You may think it is broken but it is not. Just wait. The place was very quiet. The nearby town has some nice views and probably nice hiking routes.

You pay €6.05 for each period from 1 p.m. to 1 p.m. Not bad for a quiet, well-maintained area. It is a shame they charge for everything else: emptying, filling, electricity, use of the toilet, etc. No Wi-Fi. Not good value for what they offer. Lots of fencing and surveillance cameras to make it clear that they are not responsible for any theft. Close to the town and services. But Almadén deserves something better.

The area is very good. We went on December 27 and, although I called to confirm that it was open, it was closed when we arrived. After making many inquiries and getting help from a town-hall employee with information that is not written anywhere, we managed to make it work and stayed there for two days. The area is similar to most in Castilla-La Mancha. The new feature is that you pay €6.05 again at 1 p.m.; it is no longer 24 hours as before. Level pitches with electricity cost €2.42. The bathrooms and toilets also cost €2.42, and be careful: you are charged every time you use them.

Good for one night; it is a shame that all services have to be paid for. Arrival must be via Calle Burgos next to the gas station; the other street is too steep. We could not visit the mine because not only do you have to register, but there must also be a minimum number of participants, and in this season there were not enough tourists.

Just going to edit my review.. It's 3:09 am on sunday the 15th of september and the music from i'm guessing a club is thumping no exaggeration and a dog has been constantly yapping since around 5pm... The description is misleading you have to pay for each individual service for example it is six euros not five euros to park for 24 hours it is over two euros to use the toilet each time, really ?.

Very quiet, very clean area, with all services available. All shops are nearby. The only problem is that we nearly left thinking it was closed. There was nobody there and the screen was off. Fortunately, I pressed the screen and it woke up, allowing us to settle in. In short, it is a very good spot.

€6, very quiet, very secure. Every additional service costs extra.

Beautifully designed, well-partitioned pitch where you only pay for the service you use and not for the “luxury” of showers or toilet containers that others insist on. Good for an overnight stop on the way south. In the morning the gate had great difficulty opening; we thought we would not get out, but after some maneuvering it finally opened.

Very well-maintained area with all the necessary services; an overnight stay costs €6.05. We spent an extremely peaceful night, despite it being one of the rainiest I can remember, and there were no puddles the next day.

Clean and quiet. Everything is optional. One shower, including the toilet: €2.42. Electricity: €2.42. Emptying gray and black water: €2.42. Everything is automatic and paid by card. You can only use the shower and toilets once. It is not for 24 hours, so €2.42 every time you use the toilet is excessive, as are the charges for emptying tanks. Too bad, because otherwise it is good.

Beautiful new camper site. There is a registration kiosk where you can choose from five languages. First register with an ID or passport number, the number of nights, the pitch, and the license plate, then pay. Put the camper on the selected pitch. You can then choose electricity at the kiosk. So you pay separately for everything. The access code for the pedestrian gate is at the bottom of your ticket. One star less because there is too much light.

Adequate and quiet area. You pay for everything, but only for what you use, unlike other places where everything is included but more expensive. Everything is automatic and worked correctly for me. One suggestion would be to separate the shower service from the toilet service and provide toilet paper.

Excellent area, very welcoming and reasonably priced. It is recommended to enter via Calle Burgos, the one coming from the gas station; the GPS route has a very steep slope and you may scrape the rear.
