Been here?
A coastal overnight parking spot overlooking the sea and beach, with no apparent overnight restrictions and space suited to smaller vans. The maximum reported length is 6 m because vehicles must park perpendicular to the narrow road. Public toilets and a children’s play area are nearby, with toilets reported open until 19:00. Views are excellent and dolphins may be visible, but evening car noise can occur.

Great little stopover right on the front. Great little Cafe with a really good choice of cakes j. ust a stone’s throw from the parking bays. Very clean public toilets open till 7pm. Some fantastic scenic walks nearby. 3 miles to the picturesque elephant rock and Boddin point.
We had a great night here. We were lucky and didn’t have any of the noise problems others had; it was Tuesday but during the school holidays. Wonderful view but we saw no dolphins. Good 4G/5G signal on EE. The toilets were excellent when they opened: clean and hot water. Neither the burger bar nor the Pavillon were open. The Esso fuel station in the town has AdBlue on a pump.
Lovely spot overlooking the sea and beach. No apparent restrictions. A few vans here tonight. Public toilets and kids play area nearby, but the former closed at the moment. Burger place across the road but also closed right now. It is worth a visit if you are self-contained.
Perfect. A truly magnificent spot. Thanks to the community ;)
Good for a quick night stopover in a smallish van due to the parking spaces. Our MWB just fit. We stayed on a windy Friday night and didn't have the best sleep due to the wind and the cars revving and banging from 9pm until about 2am.
Very beautiful, very clean, and we would never have found it without the app. And it is true: dolphins everywhere, playing around, although binoculars are still advisable. Maximum 6 m because you have to park perpendicular to the already narrow road.
nice lovely place. few boy racers about and other vanpers lovely and tidy place
Beautiful place for the night for about 20 vehicles, with a direct view of the North Sea. In the evening, a few young people occasionally arrive in their cars and play music, but it is not disruptive. A public toilet is available free of charge from 08:00 to 19:00.
Very attractive, with dolphins visible from here. However, racing groups gather on Thursday evenings, while other reviews mention Saturdays; perhaps this happens every night during holidays?
Very lovely place near a children's playground. Toilets open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. A few cars in the evening, but we had a very quiet and restful night. An extraordinary red moonrise and the rescue of a stranded dolphin on the beach the following morning. I recommend it.
Saw a golden orange moon rising in the direction of the lighthouse while overnighting here. Good spot except for 2 cars who stopped with loud music... They drove away after 1 am.
it's a lovely spot, and if you get here on a night where there are no meet ups, it would be 5/5! beautiful, lovely play park, gorgeous views, great beach walks. BUT, its clearly a boy racer meet up. revvy engines, burnouts, cheering from late afternoon until at least 10.30pm. no bad behaviour, just very loud.
Parking for campers and caravans is not allowed. Maximum clearance height 2.10 m. There is another parking area on both sides of the through road, but it is too small for campers.
Excellent location. I thought we would be spared. But despite it being Sunday evening and almost the end of March, with 2°C outside, the local boy-racer community is active. It is now 11:23 p.m., and one roadworthy-test-defying exhaust after another is driving past. They coordinate with horn signals to decide who gets to drive first in which direction on the single-track road. Idiots.
Beautiful place, pity about the Saturday night boy/girl racers, noisy till midnight revving engines, playing loud music. no toilets after 5pm.
