Ferry parking, overnight noise

It is fine if you arrive on the ferry at night, but it has a rather morbid charm. We initially wanted to take the early-morning ferry to Puttgarden and did not find the place attractive for spending an evening there in good weather. We found another spot elsewhere.

Good place for anyone taking the ferry at night or early in the morning, or arriving late. At times, when there is no ferry in the harbour, it is quiet. I recommend the motorhome sites to everyone else. Do not forget to visit the Fehmarn Tunnel construction site. It would be nice if Rødby had a facility for disposing of grey water, black water and toilet cassettes.

Quiet, large car park. Perfect for resting for a few hours after a night crossing. Many rubbish bins. We could not find a toilet, probably a short walk away.

Practical parking for arriving or departing from Rødby by ferry. Functional parking and therefore highly recommended. The best option in the area.

Very large car park for sleeping after arriving at night. We did not find it noisy at all and slept very well.

Free parking. Practical for spending the night before the early crossing. Trucks park on the other side; the refrigerated trucks hum all night.

We spent one night here; it was not bad! A good place to wait for the ferry.

We stayed in this parking lot before taking the ferry, for a short rest. Obviously it wasn't very quiet but we felt safe and we easily got a place for our 23 feet long motorhome altrungh a few cars were already parked there because it is spacious. It was also completely free of charge but unfortunately there weren't any facilities available, except for a garbage bin.

Fine for a simple, free parking area. It is relatively noisy, but we expected worse. A practical overnight place for an early crossing.

I usually don't care about noise overnight, but here you do hear the constant noise from the lorries and cars both parked up and coming off the ferry throughout the night. Some foot passengers disembarking the ferry also made some noise shouting in the car park. So fine for an early crossing but if you really are a light sleeper you might struggle!

Pretty much as described, but very noisy during night. Didn't get much sleep... Several MH's parked over night, but also trucks. Even more trucks on the other side of the road and fence. Pretty dirty ground. But practical and close to check in.

Functional; we stayed here with two motorhomes. Otherwise, as described.

Good place to spend one night. Five minutes from ferry check-in.

Stayed the night as got a late ferry from Germany. Safe and convenient… no services other than bin. No noise, nice and flat slept well and it was -3.

A restless place with Wi-Fi.
