This large gravel daytime parking area sits beside Lake Visovac, with shade, a small beach, swimming, bins, a kiosk and a clean portable toilet. It is suitable for motorhomes and offers a peaceful place for a daytime stop, although the kiosk generator can disturb the quiet. A park ranger enforces the prohibition on overnight stays. The spot is isolated from walks around the national park.

Beautiful parking area for a swimming stop. Bins available. Small kiosk with ice cream and drinks, plus bratwurst.
Lovely place. However, it is advisable not to stay overnight. We had not even been there for half an hour when the park ranger arrived and politely pointed out that overnight stays are not permitted here. Otherwise, it is a really beautiful, clean spot.
Good spot for eating or spending the afternoon, but you cannot see the monastery from here.
We spent the afternoon here after exploring the national park. Lots of parking, shaded areas, little beach, nice swimming location, portable toilet but very clean, lovely views. No overnight camping signs but would recommend for the day.
Superb spot, peaceful, with fresh water for swimming during the day. Quite a lot of shade. Bin and refreshment stand on site. Minor drawback: the refreshment stand’s generator runs constantly and slightly spoils the surrounding peace.
Magnificent daytime spot, shaded everywhere, incredibly peaceful, with the sound of grasshoppers. Small refreshment stand with benches, etc.
Wonderful place to come and relax. However, this is not where you can walk around the park, as the spot is quite isolated. Overnight stays are prohibited.
