Lovingly run, very popular terraced campsite in private hands. After arriving late from Bergen, we were given only an “emergency pitch” at the entrance. But the next day we secured the best pitch in all of Norway! Sensational views and a dreamlike sunset over the archipelago. Pitch 5 on the upper level!!!

Before entering the official campsite, you have to leave your car or motorhome and first walk around to see which spaces are available and where you want to put your vehicle. Then drive in and pay in the evening. Given the winding layout of the camp and the narrow roads, this is completely understandable. You really cannot count on Wi-Fi—otherwise, everything is great.

Very nice place; we had a great view of the lake. Unfortunately, we had heavy, continuous rain and only did laundry. The owner was very nice; we paid NOK 450 without electricity, including washing and drying.

A truly beautiful view of the surrounding islands and well-designed pitches. The site is generally well laid out and the sanitary facilities are excellent. The only drawback is the narrow, steep roads. People who are not very mobile or who have a large camper can use only the upper part of the site.

Absolutely wonderful place. Be sure to look around beforehand. There are wonderful pitches that are easy to miss at first glance. Host: excellent! Sanitary facilities: excellent! The lounge is rustic and wonderfully suited to spending the evening indoors.

The campsite surprised us, a very beautiful place by the sea. Spacious camper pitches and many activities possible. Clean sanitary facilities and grounds.

Fantastic camping highlight! Beautiful pitches at different heights. Hilly grounds with small hidden paths, mini-golf, canoe rental and a bathing jetty—many viewpoints to discover. Picnic tables and barbecue areas are spread around (charcoal only; pure wood is not allowed). NOK 350 for two people without electricity. The sanitary building is a short walk from the pitch, along a fairly steep path, which is inconvenient at night.

Very friendly hosts. You can ring the bell at the white house below the kitchen/washroom in the morning or evening (6–8 pm) and pay. In early May there were very few people; the owner said there would unfortunately be far too little space in high season. We paid NOK 425 for a motorhome, two people and electricity.

I cannot quite understand all the good reviews. Of course, the site is beautifully laid out, but when we were there the toilets and showers were not cleaned even once. The bin in the women’s toilet smelled disgusting. Two showers and two washing-up stations are simply too few for the whole site.

Beautiful terraced campsite with plenty of leisure activities. The lower pitches with sea views cannot be reached by large caravans/motorhomes, which naturally pleases people with tents and VW buses. The sunset is beautiful, and almost all pitches get sun in the morning. The operator is very nice and the price is more than fair!

The very few available pitches have no charm. Sanitary facilities are clean and functional. Cheap.

Beautiful natural campsite directly by the sea. Sunset in the evening, and sun already early in the morning. The campsite has a cosy old log cabin as a common room, with armchairs and books about Norway. Very friendly family who run the campsite and live right there.

Completely full and everyone is packed tightly together. Only the unattractive pitches are available.

It was very clean, very quiet and well laid out. You could do various activities on site, such as mini-golf, fishing or stand-up paddleboarding. We would come back at any time!

Very beautifully located campsite in the archipelago around Bergen. The sanitary facilities are okay but somewhat insufficient when the site is full. We arrived at 2 pm and got the last pitch with a 7.5-metre motorhome; however, reservations are not possible in advance. Be careful when emptying grey water—the drain is in a hollow, and with a large motorhome you can easily scrape the underside!

Wonderful place, absolutely exceptional. A lot of attention to detail. Great, cosy lounge for rainy days, varied grounds with partly enchanted pitches, and very hospitable owners whose house is in the middle of the campsite. Yes, there could be more showers and toilets, but you manage! Excellent value for money. You pay per vehicle and additionally per person.

Cosy campsite directly on the coast. Pitches are located along the cliff edge. The access road is steep but suitable for small campers. The only issue is that you have to go almost all the way uphill to the sanitary building. Otherwise, everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Absolutely fantastic view! It is wonderful that you can swim and go paddleboarding. There are also a few drawbacks: the beach-camping section has no electricity and the road through the campsite is incredibly steep; over three days we had to push five cars that got stuck. Another disadvantage is the very limited sanitary facilities and only two washing-up stations. The campsite was very full, so there was a lot of waiting.

Beautiful pitches with beautiful views! It is great that you can walk straight from the campsite to the water for a refreshing swim. There are few sanitary facilities for the number of visitors, and they are also quite basic.

Beautiful idyllic spot on a cliff. The owner was very friendly. The camper pitches were excellent and spread out, giving you plenty of privacy and a peaceful feeling. You could walk all the way down to the pier, where you could fish, swim, paddleboard, sail, etc. Facilities were good and clean, just a little scarce and quite a walk away. We paid 370 NOK without electricity, and showers were included.

Beautiful place, pitches arranged just the way we like them, scattered here and there. Bathrooms okay; perhaps cleanliness could be improved a little, although it also depends a lot on us! We recommend it.

Really great site. On arrival, it is advisable to stop at the reception area first and look at the pitches. Some pitches are not suitable for certain vehicles, so you should stay up top; the operator also points this out. Not all pitches have electricity. The clean and beautiful sanitary facilities could also use two or three more showers.

Probably a very nice campsite for tents and small vans, but we were in the lower car park for the same price, with only 2 showers and 2 toilets, and very complicated access for services. 1 hour 30 minutes by bus from Bergen.
