Been here?
A large, slightly sloped asphalt parking lot with 8 car spaces and 5 bus spaces. It is busy with cars during the day and lies close to the first house, while the surroundings offer views and access to the hike toward Tjørnuvík. Overnight parking is prohibited throughout the village.

Attention: ALL parking areas offered in this village are PROHIBITED for overnight parking. Therefore no van or motorhome is allowed there at night. Even asking the farm politely for permission to stay one night received a negative answer. The villagers are very vigilant. Every area has signs prohibiting overnight stays; they cannot be ignored. This is new.
Superb surroundings. Very many cars during the day, quiet at night. Overnight stays were tolerated by the farm/museum operators.
Really great place, however lot of cars coming and going during the day. Also pretty close to the first house. There’s no prohibition sign but can feel a little weird. Amazing hike to Tjørnuvík.
Quiet night, beautiful place.
We spent one night, great.
Very quiet after 8 p.m.; we were alone until 9 this morning. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.
