This is a wild overnight spot on a stunning road that is mostly gravel. Only two cars passed in the morning. Winter access is very challenging, with snow at the hairpin and a risk of getting stuck.

Don't attempt in winter unless you want a considerable challenge. We turned back at the hairpin just before, almost got stuck doing so as the road was covered in snow by that point!
