Forest waterfall, stony access

This remote parking area beside the Cascade de Capat forest is reached by a stony path better suited to vans than motorhomes. It has at least two flat sites, an excellent picnic table, a bin and strong 4G connection. The waterfall is about 5 minutes on foot and swimming is possible for adventurous visitors. Daytime walkers and waterfall visitors pass through, but nights are very quiet.

A magical, very quiet place, with the sound of the waterfall in the background. It is perfect; I was able to swim in the beautiful waterfall just below. Good to know: very good 4G connection in the parking area and at the waterfall!

Very good nature spot, on a slope. Very good for a meal stop.
Extremely quiet place, and the approach is beautiful, with the wooded mountains of Auvergne. The waterfall is an absolute must-see, of course.
We came up in a 7-meter motorhome but left again: not much of interest and not flat at all.
Access is fine with a 5.6-meter motorhome. Not a sound from 8 p.m. until 10 a.m. the next day.
It is indeed a parking area, so there is quite a lot of traffic in the afternoon. However, the night was very quiet.
