Been here?
A free, level motorhome parking area at Hockenheim’s Aquadrom, suitable for a one-night transit stop and vehicles without a height limit. There are no water or electricity services, though bins are available, and the nearby restaurant and town offer amenities. Nights are often quiet, but daytime traffic and swimming-pool activity can be busy, with early-morning noise reported. Vehicles over 8m may need to reverse in and out because access is tight.

Great free pitch for self-sufficient vehicles. From 8 meters in length, you must reverse onto the pitch, otherwise you cannot turn around. The night was very quiet.
Big places to park. Noisy early in the morning. Good enough for a quick night stop. Very close to the autobahn.
I wonder where the good comments came from. Narrow entrance; when the swimming pool is busy, the access roads are also a challenge for larger vehicles. From 8 meters onward, it gets sporty. Once you drive in, you have to reverse out again. Vehicles are parked very tightly. Free is one of the few positive attributes of the site. It may be manageable with a van or small vehicle.
Great place for one night, but during the day it is overrun with cars for the pool. The Knossos restaurant on the other side is perfect. The parking area is quiet from 8 p.m.
Thank you very much for this beautiful place. A positive example of a free motorhome pitch. On my next visit, I will certainly also visit the surrounding restaurants.
Good place to spend the night. No electricity and/or water. Plenty of space for many campers.
Many thanks to the town for this free motorhome pitch. Anyone who complains here should stay at home or go to a hotel.
Good for an overnight stop. Spaces are well marked and level. No services. Quiet at night but quite a lot of traffic during the day. Poorly drained ground, so fairly muddy on rainy days.
Very good place to spend the night, not far from the motorway and nevertheless quiet. Also great with a dog; there is an opportunity to walk it from the site.
We thank the town for this free motorhome pitch. We slept peacefully one night from Friday to Saturday. The swimming pool ventilation runs constantly, but that was fine. Rubbish bin available.
Fine parking for one night, but it is quite noisy—you can hear the traffic.
A wonderful motorhome site. We ended up in Hockenheim by chance during our trip. It was exactly the right choice. A great site, and free of charge! It is very peaceful there (we were here during the week, when it was very quiet). We would come here again anytime. Thank you to the city for this free site!
Actually somewhat noisy because of the traffic. No water or waste facilities. But it is free and there is a swimming pool next door.
Great place, especially when traveling through to Italy. Not five stars because of the surrounding noise. It really is quite noisy, sometimes with cars playing loud music. But it was Sunday evening, and the place is very tidy. :D
There is nothing to complain about for a free site. There are not only the designated spaces for panel vans and standard motorhomes, but also space around them. Even a large motorhome can fit there, unless the swimming pool is extremely busy. We motorhome users are responsible for keeping the site clean too!
As already described, there is a lot of traffic, making it noisy. The site was reasonably clean. Since it was full, we parked on the site directly beside it. Great for motorhomes up to 7 m.
Two stars because it is free. Noisy, neglected, and dirty.
A free overnight option, which is generally great. For me, the site was also too noisy: noise from the swimming pool, the road, and an apparently currently running caravan generator that is connected in the evening and seriously disrupts the night's peace. Nevertheless, thank you to the city!
I have no idea why this site has such good reviews. Cars and many motorcycles pass constantly at night. Then on Saturday morning at 7, workers start mowing, trimming, and cutting hedges on and beside the site. You absolutely cannot sleep well here!
A free motorhome site directly beside the swimming pool and within walking distance of the town center. Many thanks to the city. I contacted the city about the noise from the indoor pool's ventilation system. They said they would look into it.
Completely occupied by cars, no chance. Simply terrible.
In principle, a free motorhome site is welcome. As mentioned often before, the indoor pool is noisy. With our liner, we had trouble getting onto the site. Anyone driving forward into the space has to maneuver to reverse into the pitch, or leave the area in reverse the next day. The pitches could therefore be somewhat larger.
I checked: there is space for about 20 vehicles. A simple, well-maintained site. Thank you, dear mayor of Hockenheim.
Great, calm, official
