Peaceful nature site, limited services

It is greatly appreciated to have a reserved area for motorhomes. But it is not fair or equitable to charge €2.20 for a car and €14.50 for us. If we stay 6 hours, we are supposed to pay €2.20, because there are signs showing different prices and you pay at the machine. There is only one water tap and a blocked drain where it is obvious that some people have used it for the toilet.✦Translating

We paid €2.20 and spent the night amazed by the stars and the deer that came over to investigate. The area beyond the second barrier is more expensive and has no services. Broken fountain, etc.✦Translating

I give it two stars because at least we have this option to stay somewhere overnight, but it is disgraceful to create an area with such deficient services: only gray water, in a corner with a very small grate that makes it impossible to empty a medium-sized vehicle. A perfect place in the middle of the nature park, absolute peace at night, with only gray-water disposal and fresh-water filling. NO TOILET, somewhat shaded. It is worth noting that, depending on your motorhome, the gray-water drain may not line up properly with your outlet; something to improve. Please be aware that the walk is closed. There are no parking barriers but I think that's because the walk is closed due to a landslide. Police were fining people that tried to walk the route. We didn't stay but I think €14 is steep for no services

Large parking area as an emergency solution because the campsites in the valley are closed due to flood damage. The disposal point is not really accessible and is clogged. We spent a quiet night and, since the second barrier is defective, only had to pay the normal car price. Perfect place to spend the night right at the start of one of the most beautiful routes in the Sierra de Cazorla. I think it is shameful that many comments encourage using the vehicle parking area instead of the designated motorhome area. Because of people like that, we will lose these spaces. We only parked for the walk. We did not use the motorhome parking area. We could not open the barrier to that parking area with the ticket. So we parked in the car area, which was perfectly fine. We paid only €2.20 for 5 hours.✦Translating

The water-fill area is flooded where the cassette is cleaned, there is a disgusting grate for gray and black water, rubbish is left outside and the bins are overflowing. We spent one night in a camper and it was honestly very good, considering the limitations and the fact that there are no services beyond the enclosed parking area, for only €2.20. If you enter the motorhome area, it is somewhat more expensive. You can eat at a nearby bar; they are very friendly. The surroundings are excellent, with plenty of shade.✦Translating

Pricing: important if you want to pay only €14.50 for 24 hours: after passing the first barrier, go directly and immediately to the second motorhome parking barrier and use the same ticket. If you do not follow this procedure immediately, you will have to leave the parking area and pay €2.20 for nothing.

We arrived in the early hours with our motorhome. To avoid disturbing the other people sleeping in their vehicles, we did not enter the motorhome area and stayed in the parking lot. We did the route the next morning and left at 6 p.m. €2.20.

Given the prices in the area, it is not bad, but it is still just a parking lot. The filling hose has more duct tape than hose.

It is fine for visiting; you pay €2.20 if you stay no more than 6 hours. The drain in the motorhome area was still blocked; €15 for 24 hours. At the campsites farther on, at this time of year, it is around €20 per night and you get campsite facilities.

The filling water is not potable! They say it is untreated. Unfortunately, nobody has written anything on the tap. Be careful about drinking it directly.

The dump point is still blocked, and the spaces near the river overlook the rubbish and shacks belonging to the owner opposite. Everything is great for that outrageous price of €14.50 per day. People are staying before the barrier to the motorhome area for €2.20 per day—a smart decision.
