Town parking, market-night ban

Large parking area. A little tight for maneuvering. If you sleep too long, visitors to the town will park you in. Nevertheless, still the first choice as a pitch for Rye.

For a motorhome longer than 4 m, two spaces are used. The machine says to pay for all spaces occupied, so for my 7 m vehicle, two spaces. No overnight parking on Wednesdays because of the Thursday market.

Big car park with plenty of spaces. Handy for the town and close to restaurants and pubs. We stayed here in late March and it was quiet enough despite being next to the railway station. Our motorhome taked up two parking places so we bought two tickets to be on the safe side.

On Sunday, 8 November, the parking area was full; no space for an 8 m motorhome.

£3 for 24 hours and quiet overnight, as well as pretty flat. Right by public toilets but these close by 6.30 in the evening, reopening c. 8.30 in the morning. Close to shops and several pubs - local microbrewery is lovely!

Another welcome parking area squeezed between the bus and railway stations. Toilets closed in October. Payment checks are very lenient: a warning without a fine! It is only £3 per 24 hours, though!

Arrived just after 18.00 on a Thursday, paid for 2 bays £6 the ticket runs for 24hrs, within walking distance of everything, toilets by the train station open 24/7, and was surprisingly quiet overnight, Plenty to eat, see and do, and if you get the chance take a walk around town late evening it’s stunning. make sure if you have a Moho that you park with an easy exit as the car park will fill up

Only £3 per day. Overnight sleeping ok. Not many spaces for large motorhomes but there are some, I parked next to the cafe (7m Burstner) and still kept clear of the road, there are a few more like that if cars haven't parked in them. I slept overnight, no problems, quiet.

Great parking area for visiting the town. The spaces are sufficiently narrow and short, probably unsuitable for a large vehicle. Payment is £3 per day. You can pay by bank card at the machine near the café; the one at the entrance accepts cash only.

It now costs £3 per 24 hours. Perfectly adequate, pretty quiet- it is close to the Railway Station but the trains seem to stop early. No kids playing in the car park. Very close to the town. No shade.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and there was plenty of room for our 7.40-meter motorhome. You pay double for occupying two spaces: £6 per 24 hours. A good option, perhaps the only one, for spending the night with a motorhome and visiting Rye.

Just arrived, late afternoon Sunday. Just a small car park, not huge. Not suitable for motorhomes. We are 7 m and struggled to find a spot. Great price at £2.50 for 24 hours. Looking forward to a stroll around town before we head off tomorrow

Beautiful town that invites you to wander for hours and explore all its corners. The parking area is nothing special, although it is surrounded by lively venues. What I value most is finally finding, after three months, simple and concise parking instructions. Do not spend Wednesday night there because of the Thursday market, and pay for each space occupied.

Stayed on a Friday night. £2.50 for 24 hours. Fine for my Transporter, bigger vans might struggle with size of spaces, it is very much a car park and was consequently very busy Saturday morning. But, totally quiet at night. Toilets a short walk. Bang in the town for all the pubs and restaurants etc.

Great place to stop overnight in centre of Rye. Had quiet night. Toilets in car park, supermarket across road and a takeaway. £2.50 for 24hrs. Gorgeous place to explore, so pretty, walk up to castle ruins and back down Mermaid St, highly recommended

Perfect parking for visiting Rye, which is a very pretty little town. £2.50 is the single price for anything from a few minutes up to 24 hours of parking. If you have a large vehicle, it is better to arrive in the late afternoon. Toilets and bins.

Parking in the town center, £2.50 for 24 hours. Since we occupied two spaces, we bought two tickets. Quiet night; many seagulls in the morning, but that is normal. There are toilets in the car park. BEWARE OF THE GPS: ours sent us via Deadmans Lane, which has a 2 m width limit. You must enter via Ferry Road from the south.

Parking where you can spend the night in the town center. Quiet except for the seagulls.

We have often stayed here. It is now £2.50 for 24 hours. It is a gentle stroll to town for shops, cafés, pubs, and restaurants. We enjoyed a meal in the oldest town in Rye. The Old Bell. Delicious Greek cuisine. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night.
