Canal parking, noisy weekends

Great spot by the canal. We arrived on the Friday afternoon and there were 4 camper vans, by sat night there were 15. A little walk into the most beautiful, vibrant old town of Breda. We loved it here stayed two nights. You can stay for three, €4 a day. Great sleep. Highly recommend

A motorhome location close to the city with 8 large paved spaces, thank you Breda! We were lucky that a space was still available. Pay at the machine, not via an app. €4 for a day ticket. It is in the city, so do not expect complete quiet, especially at weekends. With earplugs it is perfectly manageable.✦Translating

We did not stay overnight but parked here for a day visit. We paid €4 for the whole day with a day ticket. The spaces were large enough for our 7.5-metre camper van, and even larger vehicles could fit. We will definitely come back, then staying overnight as well! Lovely place in Breda! As a woman travelling alone I felt safe, partly because there were 7 other campers with us. It can get busy; I arrived at the end of the afternoon and there were still plenty of spaces. You can cycle or walk straight into the city. A nice place to stay for one night. Along the water, with only a rubbish bin at the payment machine. Fairly quiet during the week and it feels good to stay here since you are not alone. The trees provide shade but are not in the way. At the end of the road there is a breakfast and lunch café.✦Translating

Very central. A fruit vendor is around the corner and it is a truly idyllic spot by the water. Our 9.2 m length was no problem. Many people walk dogs here; the droppings are generally not cleaned up. €7 fee for 24 hours. No rubbish bins. We stayed with two other campers.✦Translating

We spent a quiet and almost free night for 10 cents. On Sundays and public holidays it is free. Level, spacious spaces beside a canal or monastery wall. Within walking distance of the city. Thanks to the municipality for making this possible!✦Translating

Nice place to visit the city. Everything is within walking distance. Rubbish bin available; pay at the special parking terminal at the start of the street. You can hear traffic and people walking or cycling past, but that is to be expected when parking close to the centre on a Friday evening.✦Translating

We stayed here for two days. Very quiet place by the canal, reserved for campers, only 10 minutes from the city centre. No services; there are only two rubbish bins and a drinking-water fountain at the junction at the end of the street. Payment is €7 per 24 hours; the multilingual parking meter accepts cards and debit cards only.

Quite busy with cars, close to the city centre, which is worth visiting and is very beautiful in winter. We paid €7 for 24 hours.

Free only from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday to Saturday, and from 1 a.m. to midnight on Sunday. Water is free but flows at 10 litres in 7 minutes. Almost quiet at night.

A real blessing for campers here! €7 for 24 hours and you are in the centre in 10 minutes! Fairly quiet in the evening; the river is on the right and the road on the left, but mainly bicycles pass by. Very beautiful in the evening! Very spacious spaces.

Well-designed parking for motorhomes beside the canal. Easy payment at the multilingual automatic machine (€7 for 24 hours). We spent a quiet night, 10 minutes on foot from the historic centre. Too bad there are no public toilets nearby; that would have made it perfect!

Parked here overnight. Close to the centre. Noisy at night, with people walking past shouting and cars and motorbikes causing considerable disturbance.

Pleasant parking, €7 for 24 hours; the night is not free! Beside the canal, good for walking. Negatives: noise at night; the residents do not seem to appreciate motorhomes very much!
